The picture quality is really great compared to the TVs I have had in the past. This is my first smart tv and I am pleased with the ease and convience of use that the Roku smart tv gives me. The remote is small and compact and quick buttons to access specific platforms is cool. I had heard of Roku but never had used one before so I was surprised at all the free content that is provided in that platform. There are hours of things to watch from TV series, documentaries, to movies. Looking forward to watching more Roku TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setting up the tv , takes a little while but it was really easy to do. The remote itself is small so you have to be careful not to lose it. I like that it lets you know there's an app you can download to your phone in case you do misplace your remote. The size of the tv is perfect. The picture quality is immaculate. The color of the tv is on point. I love that you can add different apps to your homepage and can stream different shows. The quality of the tv itself, is great. Easy to put on the legs of the tv. The high definition is on point as well. By far one of the best TVs I got. I highly recommend Philips Roku SmartTv.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV has really great quality and picture. It's very 'smart' and works not only with Roku, but easy to get NetFlix, Apple TV, etc, though it. Terrific value for such a big TV with 4k UHD. Love it! The remote works great; very intuitive. Easy to wall mount, as it's very lightweight and thin, so goes up easy. Has a good quality built-in sound so no need for external speakers if you don't have them.

We love the large sharp screen. It has worked great for streaming, but I would recommend attaching to an external sound system. It does not get loud enough for the viewing distance for a tv this size. I do with the remote had a few more features for quick access. I would love for Roku remotes to have programmable shortcut buttons, Instead of preprinted ones. I'm sure it has to do with sponsorship dollars.

This TV was an upgrade from an older plasma TV set. While the picture quality is not the same as the plasma set, this TV weighs 1/4 of the weight, and offers a larger image size, which makes it perfect for watching movies. The Roku interface is intuitive, and offers countless choices of things to watch. We have discovered some old time favorites in the free channels, and the limited commercials are easy to put up wih.

I bought this about a month ago and am very happy. Was planning on goiing for a less expensive roku tv (with lots of great reviews) but in the store the picture seemed washed out and the viewing angles were very small. I did get a sound bar but probably would have been fine without.

This is the third Philips TV that I've owned. The second one is 10 years old and is still great. But this 55' Roku is hands down the best! The picture is so crisp that I can sometimes see the pores in people's skin! Unbelievable and the price is right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips 50" Class Roku Smart 4k UHD LED HDTV w/ HDR is very light and was easy to mount onto the wall. Setup was fairly simple and I did not have issues installing all of the apps I regularly use. Cons for me: 1) Sound isn't the best, but my husband and I learned we can hear better while watching our shows at night by connecting our Bluetooth earbuds through the Roku app. 2) Internet connection needs to be reconnected at least twice a week. The log-in information for the wifi is saved in the system, but for some reason, it disconnects and I need to go and reconnect. 3) Image is pixelated for movies and shows when the scene is dark.

The built in smarts offer any of the popular streaming apps and it was very easy to set up. The tv looks classy on it's included feet but could easily be mounted on a wall with either an articulating arm or a fixed mount I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a large tv! I plan to use it in my living room.

The screen is very thin and it is energy efficient. This remote comes with Netflix, Disney, Hulu and sling selections. The picture is very crisp and vibrant. The refresh rate of the television is 120 fps. The tv features HDR compatible viewing for several recent movies in Netflix.
