I purchased this to replace a different brand. I am glad I went with this TV and the Roku interface. The on-air channel guide works great for me and I also like the input and add-on interface. Everything loads quickly and is not “glitchy” like another brand was.

I have been a roku device user for many years and had the opportunity to purchase a new tv for my bedroom. The roku tv is an excellent addition and i wish my other smart tvs were also roku tvs. The roku tv is great because it integrates everything i love about roku into my tv directly with super easy television functions and never need a second remote control.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Phillips 55" class 4k Roku smart tv with her. It has a beautiful bright vibrant picture. The size is large and perfect in my bedroom I feel like I'm in a theatre. The tv itself was simple to set up only attach the legs and create a Roku account. It was all easy and I was watching TV within 10 minutes of opening the box. I hooked my sound bar to it and was always a pain with my old tv having to get up and turn it up or down with this tv the remote controls the bar which is awesome it shows a headphones picture next to the volume number. I love this tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't believe that you can get a 50" Phillips TV for such an affordable price now. Crazy how times have changed. This TV is actually quite amazing. I don't have cable anymore so I only use digital networks like Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Max. This TV is perfect for people like me. I also love the fact that the remote is so paired down and simple. I so much prefer little remotes with only a few options so that it is easy to navigate. Lastly I like that this TV works with Apple Airplay. I didn't see this explained anywhere when I purchased the TV so I was pleasantly surprised when it worked.

It was an easy TV to install and has sharp picture. We are really enjoying this bigger size and the price we great! I whish there more more options to adjust the color and I wish we could control the volume from the Phillips remote, but if we can we have not figured out how. I would like to have just one remote! We have Dish Satellite and that was a breeze to include on the remote for basics. Overall a great product so far..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When shopping for a TV the most important aspect, to me, is picture quality, and here the Philips 55” 4k Roku Smart TV absolutely shines! The picture is gorgeous, bright colors, clean, sharp lights, a full range of lights and darks, and excellent clarity make this TV a real winner. It may seem a small thing, but I love how this TV was boxed. Not only was it safely housed in Styrofoam, but the screen itself had affixed to it a layer of cardboard that I didn't take off until it was securely attached to the wall mount above my fireplace. It allowed me to handle it with stable hands, and to keep the screen pristine for when I first turned it on. If you've used Roku remotes in the past, this is the same shape and has the same buttons, but the material has a matte, easier to handle and keep clean finish that I much prefer. That said, I usually control it using my smart phone, which works fantastically. I've had problems with past TV's that had been mounted above my fireplace as the sensors have been obstructed by my mantle decorations. And while I haven't noticed this being a problem with the new remote, I do know that when controlling it with my smart phone it doesn't need line-of-sight, which makes the process of control it much easier (especially when I'm lying cozy beneath a blanket watching TV. Too the app makes it easier to use the Search function as you aren't having to peck away at or grid of letters on and numbers on the TV screen. The functionality of the TV itself works effortlessly because when you first fire the TV up there is an intuitive set up process that help to identify everything that is plugged into the ports and properly label them. It also helps you add your preferred Streaming Channels. I had not problems wirelessly connecting the television to our internet, so everything was up and running in minutes. As for the picture, it is, as I said, outstanding. The picture is sharp, the colors vibrant and true, and the High Definition something to behold. It is amazing the level of detail this television is capable of rendering. Too, the 120 motion rate is essential for sports and gaming, responding immediately with no lagging or jumping frames. Obviously the picture will suffer from slow internet speeds, or dated gaming systems, but that's no fault of the television. The speakers are a pleasant surprise, as I've found many flat screen TV's internal speakers to be lacking. However this Philips Smart TV's speakers emit a rounded, full sound that is admirable for its resonance. I did connect the television to a sound bar to increase its volume, though this is more because it was there than out of necessity. Aesthetically the television looks great, with sleek lines, and a thin profile. It is pleasantly light for its size, but it doesn't feel flimsy. It is well balanced and seems properly sturdy, and I anticipate it having a long life. I don't know how difficult it is to install the legs as it went from the box to the wall mount, but there are two individual legs that would be positioned toward the outer edge of the television, which would increase its stability. All things considered, Philips has produced a marvelous television that I unabashedly recommend!

The picture quality is sharp and has a few options to choose from. It has very little to no glare. It works great with satellite TV and was no problem to set up. If you subscribe to streaming services it is easy to login and start watching also. I would highly recommend this TV for sure.

The Phillips 65" ROKU TV is Awesome! When I opened the box and saw The ROKU Remote Control, I was Skeptical about whether or not I would be able to adequately navigate channels and program selections. After plugging it in and setting up the TV, I was quickly impressed with the versatility and ease of navigating the menu and finding exactly the programs I preferred. Customization of channel lists is intuitive and easy. I had no previous experience with ROKU, but their setup and helpful suggestions are a refreshing new direction in searching for your own preferences in entertainment and news. I'm comfortable with the ease and organized way that I can now find a new world of online streamed programming now available. Loads of Free programming is available and paid programming is offered. The TV has an excellent quality HD picture, and the Stereo Audio is very good, but external sound system is better and easy to use with this set. I could not be more pleased with this TV. The 65" screen is fantastic, the resolution is surprising and the ROKU menu is great!

Having Roku built into the TV is super convenient, I love not having to have a separate box with wires running everywhere. The remote is such a smart design, it has the best shortcut buttons and I love that the volume & mute button are on the side. The screen resolution is also incredible! This is now also my main gaming TV because of how good the graphics are and how easy it was to set-up. I have yet to find any cons to this TV, it's my daily go-to now and will be the one I recommend to my family & friends!

It is easy to setup the TV with a computer or smartphone. The remote has a simple layout that's easy to use in the dark it also has shortcut buttons on the remote for hulu,Netflix,Disney plus. I hooked it up to my Xbox one X and the 4 k and HDR are great while gaming and I did not notice imput lag.
