Disappointed with Philips

The sound keeps going out completely. Then I have to turn it off, unplug everything, find a very hidden small black button on the back. Wait a few minutes then put everything back on again. This has happened 3 times in the last week or so. I wish I hadn't purchased it, but always thought Philips was a good brand.

The tv was great until it decided to Die

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture was great and easy to use the Roku but then one day I got a black screen and the troubleshooting did not resolve the issue. I went through customer service and they determined I had a bad board. Now I'm waiting for a refund because the tv was only 8 months old.

Philips 50" HDTV

This is my second review. I was happy with the TV at first, good price and quality I thought. Unfortunately, the TV screen went dark after 6 months. Looking at other customer reviews, this issue seems to be a common problem with Philips, JVC, Magnavox and other low-cost TVs. I hope Philips can improve their TVs in the future. Until then don't buy these brands.

Terrible TV

After owning this for 6 months, the speakers went out. They sounded like they are blown. It took 2 weeks to set up a warranty claim, then the repair shop replaced the sound board, NOT THE SPEAKERS! I now use a soundbar. The warranty expired 7 months ago. Since then, this has not started properly, apps shut down for no reason, volume is awful on certain apps, and just an all around BAD tv! I can't wait for the day this stops working so I can get a different TV! This is the worst TV I have ever bought
