good but with scales

Salmon was of very good quality .only downer is that there is no disclaimer about presence of scales. I took out the skin easily along with scales but skin went to waste . Skin is usually pretty tasty so was disappointed.

It is what it is

Look at it, if you don't know what your buying, Don't Buy It! I season it and bake it, very good. No such thing as fresh fish in central Iowa but this is the next best thing.

Tasteless and not skin on as advertised

I bought this to put on the smoker. It always used to be skin on. Package said skin on. Went to smoke it and it was skinless. It fell apart in the smoker and was pretty bland and tasteless. Bring back the old salmon. This was a waste of $28.

Fresh Salmon Packaging

Good Value. Liked the packaging used a few months ago that split a whole fresh fillet into two separately sealed portions that were attached - gave option of spreading out the purchase over a week and still stay fresh.

Love This!!!

My son and I love this salmon. I cook it with some butter, olive oil, and seasonings in a pan on the stovetop. When I get the whole piece, I cut it into 5 oz filets. It's delicious!

Delicious!!!

I have no idea why this Salmon got such bad reviews. Maybe it depends on the region each of these people live in, I don't know. We LOVE this salmon! It's delicious!!

Quality you can depend on

I think being farm raised, the salmon would be of consistent quality that you could depend on and look forward to. Skin on salmon is the only way to grill on the bbq, but baking the skin on salmon provides more health benefits than without the skin.

Great for smoking.

We buy 3 to 4 of these a year. I dry brine overnight with a light sea salt, pepper and garlic powder. Cold (cool) smoked with hickory wood for 16 hours produces a moist almost buttery salmon to spread over crunchies. As good as any I have bought.

Same yummy salmon, gross new price

It was tasty. I thought it was expensive compared to my prior purchases of the same thing. Feels like it was 50%+ more expensive than my average prior purchases. Darn inflation.

Delicious

I’ve bought the skinless salmon at least 4 times in the last 2 months and it has been delicious each time. I’m shocked at all of the bad reviews. Like someone else said maybe it’s regional.
