I applied it to my very very dry face, And it was very soothing, After about 1 minute. my face had a cool soft feeling, It seem to instantly settle down the dry flakes that protrude upon close notice. This gel is not sticky at all.Oil free! yay...I even have worn it under my make up without it being visible or even feeling noticable.Non-comedogenic ,Oil-free ,Purified Hyaluronic acid , Wearable under makeup i highly recommend this product.

I am a fan of gel moisturizers because they give you all the moisturizer without the weight of a heavy cream. I find that the Neutrogena Hydro Boost water gel is living up to my expectations of a gel moisturizer. It leaves my face feeling moisturized, fresh, and my favorite, cool. I love the cooling effect that it has! That's a really great feeling at the end of the day. Overall, this is a great product for the price and I'm happy Neutrogena has come out with a gel moisturizer line. I was given this product for free from Allure Beauty Enthusiasts to try and review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the harsh winter and rough winds taking their toll on my skin, even my very oily skin often ends up feeling really dry and dehydrated and damaged. No other cream or gel has been able to properly hydrate my skin like Neutrogena Hydro boost hyaluronic acid water gel. This has become a 100% must in the morning right before I leave the house and especially at night for my nighttime routine right before bed. Using it right before bed ensure that I wake up the next day with healthier and hydrated skin. Small\major sidenote I love love love that on the back of the product box it shows you the actual size of the jar inside. I know this is a little unrelated to the review but I love that they transparent about the size of the product and how much product you’re getting Instead of trying to trick the consumers.

While it was amazing for hydration (my husband complemented that a few times) it was difficult to figure out a routine to best suit my skin type. It overly hydrated my oily areas and caused painful pimples a couple of times. I’d definitely say this product is better suited for just dry skin. I hope Neutrogena makes a formula for combo skin, because that hydration was amazing on my southern summer skin!!

I had the opportunity to test this product for free from Influenstar but all opinions are my own. Skin care as a makeup artist has always been a key factor for me and I believe the key to youthfulness is HYDRATION! Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel is great because it penetrates into the skin faster then any other formula moisturizer. The ingredients is the answer to all your dry problems. Also through consistency you will notice a a change in the texture, of the skin. What I do to see better results using this product I cleanse, exfoliate, take a hot wag apply to skin to open pores, tone the skin to correct the ph balance, then apply hot towel to face again then apply mositurizer. The moisturizer penetrates faster and because of the routine you will see better results. THe after moisturizing I seal with a light coat of oil.

I've used other moisturizers in the past, and I keep coming back to this one every single time! The scent is really refreshing and almost nostalgic to me in some ways. I have a pretty oily t-zone, but I'm prone to dry patches...so initially using this my face had to kind of get used to the water base. But after a day or two of my skin acclimating I noticed huge differences in the oiliness (and dryness) of my skin.

Influenster sent me this complimentary product for testing purpose and I completely fell in love with it. Don't let the word "gel" scare you, this gel does hydrate your skin and leaves it feeling smooth and supple, and you don't need to apply a moisturizer afterwards. I definitely recommend it!

I have used Neutrogena in the past, and it usually was too greasy for me..but this new Hydro Boost water gel is just perfection! It goes on my face so smooth..and feels light as air! It doesn't leave my skin feeling oily or greasy..and it definitely moisturizes without leaving my skin tight or dry. I love the scent! It smells like fresh linen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m currently using retinol, and I found this to burn my skin slightly. However, the sensation was nice and cooling. If I was not using retinol, I think I would really like this. It’s definitely light and good for summer.

i like this product , but i prefer it for dry skin it’s also very gentle , in my opinion it works for oily skin too but if you have sensitive skin then it’s a 50/50 , it’s very gentle i would but again if i needed it , the ingredients are good. it’s a gel texture so most likely oily skin would need this but it’s also good for dry to normal skin type.
