I first tried the hydro boost water gel when it was released and liked the texture but the scent threw me off and had a sort of alcohol-y sting on my skin. I switched to the extra dry gel cream fragrance-free version, even though I don’t have dry skin but just loved the product so much. Now that they’ve released a fragrance-free water gel version, this is my new daily staple!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Neutrogena moisturizer is a great fast-absorbing, non-sticky cream, without the high cost. It is a non-fragrance, mineral oil-free, colorant-free ingredients and even comes in a recyclable glass jar!

I tried this for my dehydrated skin and it just wasn’t enough. I applied to damp skin hoping it would lock in all the water and hydration but felt dry after a couple hours. Not at all enough for dry skin might work better as a serum followed by a heavy cream.

I'm 56 and fortunate to have fairly good skin. However, I am starting to get some wrinkles, loss of volume and although I tend on the normal to oily side, I find my skin is starting to get drier. I have to be careful of breakouts. So, getting on to Neutrogena's Hydro boost Gel, I liked that it was dermatologist tested, clinically proven to hydrate for 48 hours. It is fragrance-free which is big for me as I normally prefer more medicinal smells and less perfume florals. Many face products I have stopped using because of the smell. Not tested on animals, designed for sensitive skin. Upon using my skin became plumper and more radiant. Hours later I noticed in a mirror the effects were lasting. I continue to see improvement in texture and even more so in hydration. It feels great under makeup too.

Honestly, I'm hesitant about drugstore lotions to carry the same effect as a higher-end brand. However, I was so pleasantly surprised with the effects of this moisturizer! It goes on silky smooth and has a cooling effect instantly on your skin. Here's what I noticed within just a week: decreased redness on my face, evenly hydrated for hours, slight extra even texture of face and a nice glow. I am actually sold on this product and have switched brands to use this one...and I will continue to purchase (but it seems to sell out everywhere). Try it... you will love the results!

This gel has seriously changed the appearance of my skin, and I love it. It is lightweight and non-greasy, and it does an excellent job of hydrating my skin without making it feel oily. I also like that it is fragrance-free, which is important because I have sensitive skin. Overall, I would recommend the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel to anyone with all skin types, especially those with oily or combination skin who experience dryness like me.

I have tried other products here and there but this one is definitely a staple in my skin care routine. It soaks right in and plumps up my skin leaving it super soft and smooth. Excellent for hot weather days light weight yet very effective.
