Camera works at night but infrared does not! Customer service is non existent. Don't waste your money!

Great camera with cellular capability

Was really excited bout this. I didn't get it for game monitoring, I got it for seeing which neighbor's dog was coming up my driveway and to catch any vehicles coming and going down the driveway. Most of the time it was hard to make out the license plate numbers and pictures of actual animals were not that great either. After 3 months in operation it failed to sync any photos. Batteries were still fresh, so I like the fact that it doesn't consume a lo of power. They are going to replace and they provided the shipping label for returning it. Tech support is really good and the app is ok too. I could not do live views through the app with this camera, not sure if it is an available feature or not. If Live View is available, I somehow couldn't figure it out. Going put a Roku outdoor camera in place of this and when the replacement gets back, I will locate by a deer feeder.

Bought 3 cameras. 2 function. + S *Very easy set up for first time user * Nice options for monthly service. I choose $5/600pics/month * Decent pictures and range. *Set daily test pic for 9pm, arrives around 9:15-930. Not bad. - s *Horrendous customer service *1 camera wouldn't link to service. Takes pics, but doesn't send to app. It's useless as a"cell" camera. Contacted CS and opened a claim. 1 week later, 2 emails, and another call I'm told claim was never opened by "Onyx". *Then, once claim is opened, I have to personally pay for S/H to get old one/new one replaced. . OUTCOME: I returned it to Sam's as is, no box, no questions. THANK GOODNESS FOR SAM'S. . Original 2 still working reliably.

Over the last 2 deer seasons ive bought 10 of these from Sams. They do a very acceptable job of watching my deer feeders and other hunting spots. They connect easily and take good pictures. Every single one of them used the 60 days of free unlimited pictures, so i spaced out the activation to last me all season without much cost of plans. You do have to give credit card info to set up, but you dont get charged until after 60 days if you do it right. You can cancel at 60 days and receive no charges if yiu dont need them at that time. The most recent ones did not automatically start w the free service, so i called and was given a code for each of the cameras to start the 60 days free. Picture quality is good. Picture distance is ok.(spypoint cameras are not as good overall, but detect very far from the camera) Connectivity is very good as ive had other brands that struggle to connect in places these cameras excel in. I do have 2 that have fogged lenses after being in the field for around 6 months in South Louisiana heat and rain. My buddy had one replaced for the same issue with no trouble, so hopefully I have the same result.
