this is our 2nd time purchasing this brand. This is 10x better than Steakums. Personally, I can eat this without anything else added to it, but when you do add grilled onions and bell peppers - WOW, better than any original cheesesteak I have purchased at a restaurant. Next time this goes on sale, I am purchasing a few boxes. We made a whole box last night for a family of 4, and plenty left over for 2-3 more sandwiches. I was already told to purchase another box this week. Also, quick to make. At least for us, when we cook other brand thinly sliced, frozen beef steak, they crumble and stick - hard to cook. Not these, easy and quick!

We bought two boxes last week. We made Philly Cheesesteak open faced as sandwiches on the frozen garlic bread. 9 of us were eating. I thought it would take both boxes. However we only needed 2 packages of the 3 that come in a box. So we have 4 remaining packages for 2 more dinner recipes. They were delicious!

Honestly, I have no idea what the other reviewers of this product are talking about!! These were, quite frankly, the ABSOLUTE WORST and were returned for our money back!! Literally, we could barely chew this meat it was so gristly! So gross! Pretty bad when you keep walking to the trash to spit it out and then throw your sandwich in the trash!! Holy crap! Gross!!

Gary's Quick Steak is delicious!They are very tender and they do cook quickly. They are well worth the price. Quick easy week night dinner that is fantastic with green peppers and onions add some chips and a side salad and you've got yourself a very good meal!!

I appreciate the simplicity of the ingredient list. The taste, as is, is needy; the texture, when quickly cooked as directed, is a bit tough. Both the taste and texture were much improved by slowly simmering the cooked meat in brown gravy with caramelized onions. As the enclosed seasoning packets were not to my taste, I substituted my own blend of herbs. The advantages of this product are that: (1) it is relatively pure and simple; (2) it is not pre-seasoned, so it is adaptable to one’s own taste; (3) it cooks up very quickly; and (4) price-wise, this is a bargain.

I was not impressed with these at all. I would like to give them away as opposed to throwing them out, but what do you say to the person you are giving them to? "I think these are gross, but maybe you'll like them?" Waste of good $. Full of grizzle - every bite. No thank you. Next time I'll do the regular slab style steak-ums - Easy and delicious.

We have used other similar products for cheese steak and this is the worst. Flavor is ok but there is so much garbage in there making chewing very difficult. I think they made these from all the trimmings, not the actual steak Not enjoyable at all, I'll use Kroger, Meijer or Walmart shaved steak from the meat department . At least there you can see what you are buying. Not recommended at all!

These were a gift; and I must say my nephew loved them! Easy to make and delicious.
