These steaks are so delicious and easy to make. I recently purchased a few more boxes to make roast beef sandwiches with au jus for a party. The meat was also a perfect stand in for ground beef. I hope Sam’s continues to carry these.

I've been buying these for a while now and the meat has always been "vacuum sealed" in plastic. You could store them in the freezer for months and they wouldn't get freezer burn. Well, they changed the inner packaging. The meat is now in different plastic and no longer vacuum-sealed. They are full of air now. Last week, I bought two packages and they are already getting ice crystals inside the baggies. Ill update if anything, quality wise, has changed. Oh yea, the price went up also, so we got that going for us too...

I've only eaten one serving - it was HARD to eat. Also HARD to imagine this beef is from a sirloin cut of beef. Meat is full of gristle. Cooked as directed, however did not use seasoning as I am avoiding salt when possible. I have considered putting in a slow cooker to see if the long slow cook softens the gristle - and use it in a stew or soup recipe.
