Night before my daughters fundraiser I TRIED to make these PB cookies. I followed the “simple 3 easy step” recipe on the back of the bag and the dough was so dry half the mix wouldn’t hold together. I tried tweaking the recipe by getting my hands wet and kneading the dough and finally got the dough to form the little balls. I baked them at 350 as instructed and had to take them out after only 4 minutes because the bottoms were getting too brown. Totally annoyed knowing I couldn’t take these to the fundraiser I went ahead and put them in the cookie jar thinking “kids will eat anything”. WRONG…first hand in the jar I heard, “Eew, these are aweful!” After dropping off my store bought cookies I tried calling Betty Crocker to see what could have possibly gone wrong. Well decided to try these, flavor is great, but the recipe is bad, direction on pkage is not correct, they come outta oven, same way they went in, didn't raise, or anything, fell apart at the touch of them, not satisfied at all and will NOT buy again! Betty Crocker Peanut Butter Cookie Mix 91

I added two tablespoons of brown sugar and two tablespoons of smooth peanut butter to the mix, smooshed it in, then added the wet ingredients. I scooped out 12 big cookies, and they came out great. So great, I don’t see a need to make from scratch ever again.

Betty crocker cookie mix is so simplistic and quick and foolproof, I've been using it for years. I love having to make something sweet when time is short. I must add though, the only way to go wrong is not knowing your oven! I know my oven heats up hotter than the called for Temps. Easy solution, just lower the temp and the baking times. Since we love our cookies chewy, they come out perfect every time!

Can't taste the peanut butter in the cookie. They seemed to have changed the mixes. For many, many years my favorites were Peanut Butter and also Oatmeal Chocolate Chip but even it is way different now and much more bland. I hate to say it but they've destroyed the product and I will have to move on. So disappointing.

Love the Betty Crocker brand her products have always been good. I am a peanut butter cooker sucker and these are quick, easy, and delicious. I dont think these need any improvement and as far as recipes I use these in many of things like cookie sandwhiches using 2 and ice cream between talk about yummy!

My husband really looks forward to me baking some after dinner because he loves warm peanut butter cookies. Sometimes I add some dark chocolate chips to them which make them even better! I highly recommend this brand as well:) Pillsberry brand cookies forever.

My hubby makes these with chocolate chips and they taste great they taste just like my my grandmas homemade cookies. Nothing like a warm batch of these cookies and a gaint glass of milk. A little to satisfied with the taste it’s a struggle not to fight him for them all.

I have always had good luck with the recipe as is. However, I found that adding 1/2 cup of peanut butter, an additional 1/3 cup of all purpose flour, and an additional teaspoon of water to the basic recipe created a cookie a mother would be proud of. Great texture with a soft center, and full of flavor.
