my dog is diabetic and must eat once every 12 hours with insulin inhection. She's super picky and has been hospitalized twice and almost died for low blood sugar issues because of her refusal to eat. She turned her nose up at chicken, ground beef, lamb. I spent 3 years putting her food in a blender with water to puree it enough to feed her with a big syringe to force her to eat. On a whim, I decided to try pedigree. Let me just say that it's been almost 1 year. She's been on it, and she's still eating it. She's had zero issues with her diabetes management since. Please dont ever discontinue this food. it literally saved my dogs life. It's the only food she's ever willingly eaten and continues to eat.
