Didn’t get to eat it As it was bad We bought it on a Saturday and had to throw it out on Monday and the date on it was for 2 days later Won’t be buying any fish for Sam’s club again

Great price and it the fish is very fresh and the meat is cut in thick fillets. You can cook it up many ways- I like to lightly bread it and pan-fry for fish and chips or fish tacos.

My husband loves cod and I opened it the same Day I bought it and it smelled like it had not been refrigerated at some Point in its journey….we’ve purchased it before and it’s been wonderful.

Was not pleased with the fish as it smelled very strong which indicated tome that it was old. Taste was ok after cooking, but will not purchase again.

Buying twice in row, first time had super strong ammonia smell through packaging, second time wasnt that bad, but has a persistent ammonia smell even after frying, not risking it, north austin, TX branch

We used to live in Northern England and got cod there that was at least an inch thick. Same when buying fish and chips. Nice flakes of fish. Your cod was rather thin.

1st purchase was just ok. 2nd was not good. Similar to other reviews. Not fresh, stinky even though a week away from expiration. Only thing I could do was use it for ceviche. Will not buy again.

Cod was so fresh and delicious. We will definitely be coming to Sam’s for the cod in the future. My adult children were surprised at the high quality and value.

A very clean, and fresh tasting fish with great texture, just what you would expect. I like the fact the fish is vacuum sealed for freshness and too makes it easy to freeze.

Great value for whole cod fillets. I liked that I could see the cod in the packaging. (I have purchased frozen cod in bags from grocery stores and been disappointed with what I received) Sam’s cod fillets were delicious! I will be purchasing often!
