Prepared them 2 ways...1 batch fried in lard and the other air fried (both versions dipped in egg, then a 50%-50% flour/panko mix) both came out fantastic. No shrinkage at all in either version. Moist and flaky just as you would expect. My personal fav was the batch fried in lard...with tartar sauce on a kaiser roll. Omg!

Once the package was opened, it stunk. Too much trouble to bring the stinky package to return to the store. $18 was wasted.

It had turned - I don’t mean that it smelled like fish, it was putrid and obviously beginning to decompose. Unusable.

Considering it was spoiled 2 days after I purchased it, I would say it's a horrible product. It made my entire house smell after opening.

The Cod is very good and it has a good expiration date. We have purchased cod from a local fish store at over twice the price per pound but we prefer the flavor and cut of the Sam's Club cod.

I’ve bought this a couple of times, and each time I have found little bones in the cod. Even though I run my fingers through it and rinse it, the bones are still in there, so be careful.
