Excellent Cod . Living in the mid west it's hard to get good fish. It was firm and no bones in it. No fishy smell either. I made a great fish chowder. It was tasty.

This looked good on display, however when I opened it, there was a strong odor! I rinsed it well with cold water. Baked it with seasonings. Both my husband and I disliked the taste and threw it away.

Opened the package three days before the sell by date and it was spoiled. It stunk up the house for hours. Had to throw it in the freezer until trash day. Very disappointed!

We were so looking forward to fried fish. Oh no stunk the whole house because it was bad. I purchase cod from Sam's once before but I won't do it again.

The fish was super smelly when I opened the plastic wrap. The use by date was still good. I went ahead and cooked it by adding lots seasonings on the fish, but it still stink!! I will Never buy fish from samsclub again!!

It was not fresh. I have bought it on other occasions and has been much better.

This Cod tastes great. My wife and I enjoy Cod and when we saw the price at half of what we pay in our favorite grocery store, we decided to try it. We're glad we did. It tastes as good as our grocery store Cod and was half the price. I recommend it for your consideration.

Love the fact that it's wild caught! Great quality fish. Not mushy; fillets are whole and when cooked they flake off into the best tasting fish!

I have to agree with the lower star ratings. I immediately froze this fish, upon thawing one day in refrigerator, the fish had a strong odor. I both fried and baked some. The fish not only had the odor but it had an ammonia taste. Will most likely not purchase again, I don't think this fish goes through proper preparation at packaging.

The cod was very salty. It also had a chemical taste. We had to throw it away. I seasoned individual pieces. Even the plain ones were very salty. I will be talking to customer service the next time I’m at the store. Warning , DO NOT waste your money.
