Something is not right with this fish. Awful odor when opened. Well before sell by date. Tried to get the smell out to no avail. The fish wasn't spoiled but I do not recommend.

I had high hopes for this cod, only to the package and was hit with the foulest odor. It was so nauseating, there was no way we could have possibly eaten it. I do appreciate Sam's refunding my money.

Completely inedible. It was packed by Sams Club , I picked it up in a cooler, went straight home. 15 min later when putting it in the fridge noticed the revolting smell and had to go back and return it. It was far before the “sell by date”.

Did not even bother to cook it. As soon as we opened it, it smelled horrible (like a rotten fish smell) and now our house smells horrible from it. (We opened it a week before its best by date.) And we're out the $20 we paid for it. Based on this purchase, we would give it zero stars or negative stars if we could.

Great quality and taste. Sam’s cod is as close to fresh as you can get in a grocery store.

I don’t care for a cod filet. I prefer a loin. I returned it.
