Smelled upon opening

This is the second time I purchased this cod and it is rotten. As soon as I cut open the pack you can smell the sour smell.

Stunk! Spoiled??

Purchased in store. Opened 5 days before well by date. Refrigerator had a weird smell. When we opened the package it smelled so bad we couldn’t get it out of the house fast enough. We knew refrigerator super cold. We wasted $20. There was no way we were attempting to freeze to return and stink the freezer. Would give no stars if possible

I used to love this wild caught cod but the last three times I bought it I wasn't happy. It has definitely changed and is incredibly salty. I believe that perhaps the source salts the fish for preservation and it is now uncomfortable to eat. My family no longer wants it.

Bought this cod on July 21 and it had a sell by date of July 24. Cooked it last night on July 22. When I opened package it was one of the worst smelling fish I ever bought. Tried rinsing it off to get some of that smell off but it didn't help much. Still cooked it and it was horrible. Will never buy again and probably won't ever buy from this brand ever.

Purchased twice. First time was rancid and smelled like chemicals. I was able to get my money back after going in store to do that. Gave it another try and it was rancid again! Didn’t have time to go in to get a refund but very dissatisfied! The salmon is excellent have bought many times but will never get the cod again!

I’ve bought the fresh filets quite a few times now, and I’ve never been disappointed. I fry some of it the same day I purchase it, and I freeze the rest for later use. I’ve never experienced a bad smell or a bad taste. They’re much, much better than the frozen filets!
