I was very excited when I saw a nugget ice machine at my local Sam's Club. However just 2 short weeks after purchasing, the machine started making a loud screeching noise and stopped making ice. Fortunately Sam's Club has a great return policy. But I would not recommend this machine to anyone. Very poor quality.

We bought this being a bit skeptical as many reviews mentions loudness on most of these units. Not this one - it's quiet, makes ice incredibly fast and the nuggets hold up in drinks. Highly recommend this GE ice maker - we'd give it 10 stars if we could!

This icemaker works exactly as it should. It starts producing pellets within a few minutes. It will fill the bin with wonderful soft pellets in a little over an hour. The added side tank, makes it a breeze to fill. We fill the tank every other day. With the tank, you never have to check the water level inside the icemaker. We run ours on a smart outlet. We turn it on at 7:00AM and off at 7:00PM. Overnight the ice mostly melts and it all goes into the internal reservoir It is fast and reasonably quiet. All you hear is a faint hum and the ice pellets dropping. We've tried several, and this one is the clear winner.

Load squeal never lasted two days before we took it back. Called GE they acknowledged that has been a problem with them.

This makes the best ice and makes it faster than I was anticipating! Setup was simple enough. The tank is helpful because I think I would be adding water frequently without it. Best purchase I've made in a while!

Doesn't work like claims, it flashes once every other day like it needs to be cleaned. It's only a couple weeks old, and it started flashing after a couple days. I only use bottled water in it, it's not like I use dirty water.

I had the opal nugget ice maker 2.0 for 4 or 5 years. Tis one seems to make more ice, it's faster and quieter. I love it!

This small nougat ice machine by GE is exactly what we were looking for. I am amazed at how much ice it can make. It is very easy to operate and is used all day long for water and sweet tea!

I've been wanting one of these for quite some time. When saw it was on sale I thought it was time to purchase! Glad I did! Easy to set up, had ice in no time and absolutely love it!! Great price too.

Caught this on the doorbuster deal and I am in love! I fill my Stanley up every morning before work and don’t have to go to Chick-fil-A just for their ice!
