Worst ice machine I've ever purchased. Bought two and neither one worked for longer than 4 days!

Didn't even work for one day, it made a horrible screeching noise and cycled water constantly. We tried everything to make it work properly, ended up having to return it to the store.

Planning to return. Purchased on 7/31/26 and within a week it’s already making a loud screeching sound that only is remedied by turning it off for a few hours but can possibly happen again same day. Really hoping it’s just a defect.

Makes a lot of nuggets (ice), more than the less expensive ice makers on the market. You do need to "clean" the unit once a week and then change the filter once a month. However, cleaning the less expensive machines was a pain since you had to wash it by hand. For the GE, you use the descaler powder, change the filter and you're good to go. (Well, I think you're good to go since I haven't owned it for more than a month yet.) You do need to place it close to a sink to facilitate easy draining.

We are having trouble with the ice maker. It is making a screeching sound for long periods of time

After 2 days i nearly returned this product because i couldn't quit figure it out... but i am SO happy i didn't! Once i learned what everything meant, how to set up the auto fill correctly, learned the drawer tilts and is not broken ..... it was ice ice ice! This machine runs so efficiently that i was storing extra bags of ice until one of our ous was full. I have used this for parties and just everyday use. I bought it for our motorhome but am using it everyday in or kitchen. It is amazing. The ice is the best texture just like chic-fil-a. Everyone in our family agrees it is much better than the ice from our fridge. Take a leap and buy it if you need an ice machine!

This is a great ice machine, we bought it for our home. I make ice all day on a Saturday bag it up and put it in the freezer. It's great I tell people all the time about my machine. It keeps it frozen until it fills the bin up I dump it every hour .

I always wanted a nugget ice maker and this one is a perfect match. It's size allows plenty of ice, refills quickly and still fits on the counter. I tried it without the side tank initially, but found that we were refilling the internal tank daily (that's how good the ice is!). With the side tank, we only have to refill it weekly.

Really disappointed. The first one I bought wouldn't stop screeching. So I went back and exchanged it figures it was defective. After about 5 uses this one is doing the same. I've cleaned it after each use and haven't done anything that could have caused this. For the price tag I expected much better

Ice machine works great! The machine is well built and is exactly the dimensions provided. We followed the instructions for set up and had ice begin to start making within 10 minutes of turning the machine on! We purchased this machine three weeks ago and continue to be very pleased with the quality and quickness the machine creates a full container of ice for the family!
