Way to much money I paid for this machine before a year was up loud popping winding sound while making ice and I bought two at one time both are not working correctly…Ge count yo days ..

Installed our machine almost two months ago. We love it! Makes plenty of ice, perfect every time. Only down side is required weekly cleaning, however, having the ice is worth the trouble. We feel this was a great purchase for us.

Most quite machine we have had. In fact I bought another brand and could not stand the noise it made. I had an Opal before and I am back to it again.

LOVE!!! I’ve been watching this ice maker for several years and after seeing my great friend and my son having one and both of them telling me how much they Love this product, I finally purchased! Was the best decision I’ve made in a long time!!

This would have been a 5 star review except the hose inside the reservoir was not connected and I ended up with a gallon of water on my floor. We had to unscrew it and connect it. What a mess

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is so cool. It forms the perfect ice (like chic-fil-a ice), and it makes it quickly. It seems very well made, but it's heavy, so be aware. Perfect ice maker for any occasion.

First...you MUST use only distilled water. Filtered water is not the same. Second, the frequency of maintenance cleaning is improved with distilled water, but still too often needed. We love the ice. We had 2 of these. It's easier to go buy a bag of ice from Sonic for 2 dollars.

Totally love this ice maker. Its priced higher than other models, but totally worth it. I shopped around a lot and took my chance on the GE model, versus the Frigidaire which is cheaper, but trash ! We have had the GE Profile for about 3 months and it makes the perfect sonic ice all day. It takes some time to get used to the sound of it making ice, however its worth it. I would totally recommend this one if your are like me debating back and forth because this one is priced higher, just buy this one and you will be happy with the quality, the sleek look on any bar. I use my filtered alkaline water to fill it, so the ice taste amazing!

Up and running in just a few minutes, I ran a clean cycle and started making ice right away, The hopper was full by dinner time.
