GE Profile Opal Nugget Ice Maker + Side Tank

We love this ice maker! It's the third Opal we have purchased, when you own one you get spoiled. It is a bit noisy but it's worth it.

Not great start

We are on our 3rd Opal Ice Maker.  Needless to say we go through a lot of ice in our family.  Absolutely love it.

Great features

This is 1/3 the cost of what I paid.  But it eventually made too much noise %26 cleaning wasn't fun. Mold builds up in water tank 1st %26 then the well😬

don't buy

This is absolutely the best ice maker I have ever bought and I have bought at least 6! I just can’t say how amazed I am with this machine. It makes ice fast and keeps the bin full. Tank is easy to fill and I use filtered water, not tap water. I love the soft pellet ice so much better than the nugget ice. Should have bought this one the first time! Excellent price, great purchase! GE products rock! One note, this machine was too high to fit under our cabinets so had to place on our bar cart which was fine!
