Nice-sized grill gazebo for our new grill and small smoker. Assembly was relatively straight-forward with 2 people, and took most of the day. They did a great job putting this kit together so the pieces fit and made assembly easy. We did put a clear polyurethane on all the cedar pieces before assembling, to preserve the color and make it last longer... if there is a stain on it, you can't tell as the wood is very thirsty for more. Very pleased with the hardware, and the fact it came with a couple spares. The roof is okay... I wish it extended out further on the sides to protect the counters/tables, further out the back, and wish it had a greater slope for shedding rain and snow. We may eventually end up altering the roof ourselves. Overall, I'm happy with it. It looks great on our patio and will be very usable in nice weather.

Bought this about a month ago and finally was able to put it together after painting and getting it powder coated to match my wifes shed. As they say happy house happy spouse right. Took about two days, probably would of taken just one day but i started late and it was starting to get hott. Instructions were clear , parts, nuts and bolts were easy to find. Added some clip on fans for the hot summers when bbq’ing.

You definitely need at least 2 people to assemble, but honestly it’s not bad and the instructions are superb. The quality of all the backyard discovery products are superb, and look amazing!!

It was a bit tough for us to set up by ourselves, being in our 60’s, but we managed, and now we are just thrilled! Great to sit under for morning coffee, lunch, or reading. Wood is beautiful, and the convenience of electricity is nice.

We bought the gazebo last fall since it was out of stock everywhere last summer, but with such solid reviews we wanted to wait…..and it was well worth the wait!! What a well built gazebo for the money and the design is so convenient having the two shelves while cooking! I can’t say enough good things! We are building an outdoor kitchen in Miami, and were looking for a gazebo-type structure to cover and protect the grill island. My wife found the Grill Gazebo, which perfectly fit our needs, and is the right size for our island and needs. My brother, son, and I assembled it yesterday (it is a 3-4 person job) which took about six hours. As you can see from the photos, it fits exactly as we needed. The side shelving is missing as I am waiting for the granite counter to be installed to leave installation/work space to maneuver, but it looks great and matches our cedar fence. I called and ordered a couple of extra truss tie-down "Rafter-Clips, and two L-Brackets to further secure the roof (we live in a hurricane area-you understand) and I wasn't charged for the extra hardware due to recently purchased, which was very kind of Backyard Discovery, thank you. Good product!

The Saxony XL is a fantastic gazebo! The quality of the materials is incredible. The lumber is excellent quality, the fasteners are very strong, and all comes very efficiently and safely packaged. The instructions are exceptionally detailed. While rekatively easy to assemble, it does take 2 people, 3 is best when lifting the roof. We used a sealer on all wood components before assembling and allowed ample time to dry. I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending the Saxony XL Grill Gazebo!

We have been looking for a grill Gazebo the last few years. Finally this is exactly what we had in mind! This grill gazebo has everything it has your electrical outlet, countertops and it's a beautiful sturdy well built structure! We certainly recommend downloading the app to assemble. Very easy to follow and awesome interacting instructions. Definitely worth five stars!

It looks great at the end of our pool and the color matches our deck color perfectly. It was just my husband and me assembling it and it took the two of us 3 days, during the hot summer days of July. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Just lay out all of your parts/pieces in number order and the process is faster. We made a few changes to ours by moving one of the end tables to the front and adding some additional wood siding for privacy. It's a very sturdy gazebo and definitely worth the investment.
