got the reminder about my order and asked it to ship immediately. i didn't expect it to ship the same day and the day that it was roasted. delivered the next day, so i don't know how you beat that freshness.

This coffee is a great value, and is a really good coffee, and if you haven't tried some of Peets other coffees, you are missing out ! Try the Garuda blend in a french press or Aeropress or any of the many Different coffee beans on their site .... I use to think starbucks was the best or one of the best, UNTIL I tried Peets beans then ground in grinder and french press, The best ! And Peets doesn't seem to be pushing a political agenda like starbucks ... Try Peets, I think you will like it !

These beans always arrive with plenty of time in the dating. Usually a couple of months. I grind them as needed every day and every time we brew an excellent, delicious, enjoyable pot of coffee. For beans of this quality, the price is more than competitive bordering on reasonable.

Peet's Major Dickason's Blend is the best coffee available--deep, strong flavor but incredibly smooth. I use it in an automated espresso/cappuccino machine.Try it, you will like it. Also, the Sam's price is well under other retail outlets and on-line providers.

The coffee.. the packing of coffee was awful. No packing materials with coffee being packed in too large a box. Box was crushed, one bag of coffee busted open and remaining 4 bags had their vacuum seals blown. I was credited for the busted bag as well as receiving a credit for $10.00. Failed shipping.. should address this problem.

This coffee is so smooth and rich. I stopped buying for a while because I cut back on my coffee consumption. After trying several varieties of fresh beans I finally ordered again. I can’t get over how good this tastes after drinking the others. I use a Jura Z6 and make a double extra strong espresso.

Found this coffee at the Frederick, MD club, about 30 minutes from my house. It is, hands down, the absolute best coffee I have ever had.......ever!!! I make a special trip to the Frederick club every couple of months just to stock up. I can't wait for my Hagerstown club to start carrying it. It has a really great, full bodied flavor with not even a hint of bitterness, and no burnt flavor like so many other coffees. Try it, you will not be disappointed!

If you like full-bodied, yet smooth coffee, this is for you. The instructions recommend 10 grams of beans per every 6 oz. of water. This is the strength thatI use, and I love it. This roast is not as bitter as, say, Starbucks house blend. And the price is better than you will find anywhere, whether grocery stores or Peet’s website.

This is a pretty good coffee. Sam's doesn't carry much in the way of good whole bean coffee (in store). At least in Tyler. But this is good...At least as long as I order in time. The bags could be larger. I know I could order more, but they should have a three pound, or two pack at a lesser price. I like the taste of the dark roast and this is not a bad choice.
