Love this coffee

received this coffee today and the bag was almost 2 months past date. In the midst of this pandemic and the great boon to hit the grocery business and they can turn their stock properly? I am surprised Peets, who is very protective of their product, would allow this. I certainly wont buy perishables from Sams again

Please note I'm not good in describing the coffee taste, even when reading the description of spicy/complex...I'm not sure what they meant. So this review may not really helpful in term of description of the taste, rather it's personal taste. We drank quite a few of different type freshly roasted beans from Peet's since we prefer to make it ourselves with espresso machine at home whenever we feel like it throughout the day. The best I can describe Major Dickason is very smooth and palatable (for my personal taste), since I don't like too bitter or acidic taste ones. Another favorite of ours is Arabian Mocha Sanani - which I like the signature taste of the mocha on this (since this is on the pricier side, we bought once in a while as a treat).

Major Dickinson's is my very favorite. In fact, I am afraid to try anything else, because I do not think anything is better. I had some sitting in my filter for the next day's cup and the night before I started walking into my kitchen and received the smell of just the dry grounds. Wow! I thought no one comes close to Peet's MD. I have a one cup machine and the fantastic odor packed a punch! Thanks Peet's!

I just bought this brand and flavor of coffee a few days ago. I have been trying all different kinds of coffee for years as none of them gave me that YUM I was looking for. I settled on I'll call it Fulgirs black silk for a long time. I tried peets major dickason and WOW!!! Its so dark, silky, and robust with a perfected flavor. Absolutely nothing like it. I'm sold for life.

One of my Favorite coffee's. Perfect Blend, rich fl avor, strong, and smooth. Just don not care for the mailing delivery, since it takes more than 7 to 10 days to get to my home. Pete, must get a better delivery systrem. Like most coffee lovers, we want Fresh roasted coffee, thats why we come to you for flavor done to perfection. Now perfect delivery...

Love this blend and most other coffee offered at Peet's. Unfortunately, I'm now looking locally for a roaster so I can get my beans more timely. Their shipping policy states between 2-6 business days but my experience has been mostly 8 days and once as high as 11 days. It takes them 4 days just to get the package out of the state of CA. One of the benefits of a subscription is to always have fresh coffee and to not pay additional for shipping. Tired of trying to pull espresso shots with stale coffee.

Because it's so fresh when ordered from the website, this was better than the same thing bought from the store. I can't go back to regular coffee now because this stuff tastes so good! Hard to describe the taste, but it's not overly bitter like other kinds of coffee and has a pleasant toastiness that's so comforting.

Major Dickason is the best coffee I've ever had. It is consistently blended and always satisfying. I used to drink the Sumatras and love Indonesian coffees and MD satisfies without going overboard. I went online to check out it's origins and sure enough, there was Indonesia. Yum. Gives a great start to the day.
