This has always been one of my all-time favorites. I have been ordering it for over 10 years when I lived in the Bay Area. It was always my go to. I am now in San Diego. Retired and Peet are hard to come by down here. Be nice to see more of them around this coffee, delicious, full bodied, little fruity and full of flavor

I have always loved Peet's coffee and no question, the Major Dickasons blend has been my favorite. I like my coffee, strong and this coffee's strong flavor is very dynamic. It hits my taste buds like a great dancer. There is all this flavor that seems to be meaty and thick , but also light at the same time. There's a wonderful balance to it. It taste like something really good that you eat that melts in your mouth. Let's just say I recommend this coffee.!

I have been a customer for years now and really enjoy Major Dickason's blend. Every month I have two pounds delivered and even the UPS driver said he loves to smell the coffee in his truck. I get whole beans and every morning grind a cup or two and the aroma fills the room and I finally get to enjoy the bold, fresh taste of this wonderful blend.

I first had Major Dickason's Blend when it was introduced in the store at Walnut & Vine in Berkeley. My mom and I went there regularly. We both liked it, and better than the other beans. I have been choosing it over other coffee types pretty much ever since then.

Would go with a 4.5 if allowed. This is the coffee my wife and I prefer, since our previous coffee roaster went out of business. The "flavor profile" is listed as earth, spice, and everything. It does not taste like dirt or rocks, so not earth. Which spice? Not basil, thyme, chili, garlic, etc. I have yet to detect a spice. Not sure what "everything" mean. If it mean coffee flavor, yes it tastes like coffee. It tastes like it smells - coffee. (We have an automatic expresso machine the grinds whole bean.)

I loved my wife's Keurig version of this coffee so much, I ordered the beans. No matter what grind I use, or brewing method (drip, Italian, etc.) this has very little resemblance to the Keurig version. It is much less aromatic, and has none of the great taste the Keurig version has. What went wrong?

People who can talk about gourmet coffee, wine, fine cuisine, have something on me, which is remarkable, given that I'm a former barista at an independent coffeehouse steeped in the hands-on Italian tradition. So, with but a few exceptions, Major Dickason's Blend, for me, is just about as close to perfect as it gets.

So I stayed at an Airbnb 2 years ago, innocently pressed a button on a Breville Barista Pro, and suddenly realized I've been living a lie. This machine grinds beans fresh — like, actually fresh, not “we roasted it three months ago and slapped a green mermaid on the bag” fresh. I quickly returned home, with a new machine arriving with I did. A pure mindless purchase - I tried Starbucks beans first. Big mistake. Imagine licking a burnt tire dipped in acid. Never again. Enter Peet's. Low acidity, no bitterness, smooth perfection. It's like the beans were hand‑picked by caffeinated angels who knew I deserved better. Every shot is a tiny miracle. TL;DR: The Breville Barista Pro Peet's beans = the end of my Starbucks era. If you're still paying $7 for a latte that tastes like regret, I can't help you. Get you better things and do better.for yourself.

First and foremost, it's delicious. A friend recommended this and I'm glad she did. I like strong coffee and use a blend of two creamers, but I want the flavor of my coffee to come through and this blend made my morning coffee pop! I love this flavor and have a feeling I'm going to be addicted to it.

I knew this was good Ive tried it from a friends house before but cant believe took me so long to order it. This is the best bag of coffee beans I ever purchased, I usually dont finish my cup of coffee since I used to buy store brand coffee but with Major Dickanson blend no more wasted coffee. What I love about the taste it doesnt have that fruity note and not bitter at all. I will definitely recommend this to everyone.
