I don’t like oils on my coffee bean

I am not a fan of this coffee...It has an acid taste...

Bought 4 lbs of coffee and the bags only had a couple of weeks left on the pull date. Very disappointing. I expected a fresher product.

Love this blend and most other coffee offered at Peet's. Unfortunately, I'm now looking locally for a roaster so I can get my beans more timely. Their shipping policy states between 2-6 business days but my experience has been mostly 8 days and once as high as 11 days. It takes them 4 days just to get the package out of the state of CA. One of the benefits of a subscription is to always have fresh coffee and to not pay additional for shipping. Tired of trying to pull espresso shots with stale coffee.

In San Francisco, this coffee is supreme and has the longest lines in their shops. Why? It is the freshest, most perfectly roasted bean out there! Just look at those gorgeous shiny beans (they are supposed to be)...and freshness dated right on the package including the roasting date. However, when you grind them and that aroma hits you, I guarantee a flavorful match when you taste it. I think it's the best coffe out there; and at an excellent price!

This coffee is a love affair. I was introduced to Peet's back in 1998 by my English professor and I wondered why someone would like a bean so much they would have it shipped to them regularly. Now I know why!!!! My first concern when moving to Canada where I now live was if they sell Peet's here. Major D's blend is my old flame that I look for whenever I scan a store, a coffeebar, an online site...I'm always searching for that spark and if I do come across it I light up with the inspiration and magic of a first kiss and my heart is full. Thanks to Peet's I have a new lifelong obsession, friend, and old flame that ever burns brightly!!!!! Be prepared to take a journey if you try it....mine has lasted over twenty years and counting!

Several months ago I bought a bag (32 oz) to give it a try. Since I live about 1 1/2 hours from the nearest Sams club, I visited several as I traveled and could not find this wonderful coffee any where. Many online places sell it, but for a lot more plus shipping. I set up my account and bought this wonderful coffee, and it arrived in two days.

I have been buying Major Dickinson coffee for many years. I have tried other coffees but keep coming back to this as my favorite. I just bought some to make cold brew coffee. It is amazing in a cold brew. I did the full amount and It was actually too strong and I love it strong. It holds up yo being poured over ice with a bit of almond milk for creaminess. I highly recommend this blend hot or cold. It is my go to.

Seems like really good coffee even if its past it's prime shelf life. Every Sam's I've gone to has this either past or extremely close to recommended sell by date. This also goes for online purchases which came to us already expired before it even shipped.

It’s been my go to beans for French Press then pourover. When I ran out of beans for Rancilio espresso machine, I used them and was pleasantly surprised with the smoothness either as a straight espresso or Americano. Maybe not as good for milk based drinks (Prefer Stumptown Hairbender), but I think I like it better than Stumptown as espresso or Americano. I know coffee snobs will scoff at this, but give it a try. I can’t get my usual 20-21 grams in portafilter though. More like 18-19g.
