I was pleasantly surprised at how good this pesto was when we tried it. It is now on our list of regularly purchased items. Sometimes it is a nice change from a spaghetti and alfredo sauces.

My husband LOVES his pesto… and swears by this brand sold at Sam’s Club. He adds it to his plain pasta, his scrambled eggs, and on toast with cream cheese.

I liked it. Never had pesto so my first time taste experience was enjoyable. It tasted light and fresh. Basil can be overpowering in dishes but this jar of Pesto had enough lasting flavor to coat the pasta and not disappear after refrigeration.

Overall the flavor is good, but it has too much garlic. The taste of the garlic is overbearing. I couldn't taste the flavor of other foods because the garlic overpowered everything else.

My wife and I have been purchasing this pesto for the past couple of years. It is high quality and tastes awesome. All of our guests who we have served it to have been amazed that it is not homemade…..IT IS THAT GOOD!

I found this pesto to be EXTREMELY garlicky….much more than other brands I’ve purchased. Wound up throwing this away and went back to my original brand.

Flavor of product is great, A . BUT, i have had 2 different issues with packaging leaking. The first was a year ago and it leaked all over my truck floorbed....has taken close to 1 year for the smell to get out of carpet....and trust me, don't want a garlic pesto smell in car! 2nd time was for a Sam's delivery just now......saw delivery guy put on porch and when i opened up the bag, this had leaked all over the bag and other products. Design flaw!

This is my go-to pesto sauce, and I always keep it on hand. One jar can make about 5 pretty nice fast pesto pasta meals. I divide the jar into 5 containers and into the freezer they go. My homemade pesto made from fresh basil, pine nuts and olive oil might be slightly better, but this is SO much easier. Great on chicken and more, too.

Ok pesto sauce. I think the kirkland signature pesto tastes better. I suspect it might be the quality of parmesan cheese. BUT, If you add blended spinach with this pesto sauce to feed vegetables to your kids, you can ignore the average-ness of this sauce for the greater good. if you are feeling adventerous, blend some boiled carrots while you are there for extra sweetness and orange undertones .

This is an excellent dip for Sam's Club pizza a topper for baked potatoes, and as a garnish for burgers. If there is some left in the jar prior to expiration date, just pop into ice cube trays and freeze for later use. Make sure that you stir it completely prior to use as the olive oil tends to gather at the top of the jar.
