My favorite Pesto! Great flavor. Love it on everything. Eggs, chicken, turkey meatballs, beef, Vegetables, salad just to name a few. I will be so sad if Sam's stops selling it.

We absolutely love this pesto! I hope they always carry it but just in case i bought a second jar and froze it in smaller portions. I used to make my own from basil i grew myself but this is just as fresh and soooo much easier. It has a very bright basil flavor with lots of pine nuts and parmesan which is how we like it.

A must in many of my recipes. I always buy two at a time. Fantastic flavor booster! I use it in soups, pasta dishes, numerous sauces and even in my guacamole.

The best bang for your buck! If I was to go buy all the ingredients separately, it would cost 2 to 3 times more than this product. Such a time saver and a money saver as well!

This has to be the best pesto I've ever eaten. Love it on pasta, pizza and mixed with ranch dressing as a dip. The basil, the cheeses and the pine nuts are the bonus!

Excellent pesto. I will definitely buy it again. The texture is good and the flavors are bright, fresh, crisp & it isn’t too garlicky which I like. It isn’t sticky in the mouth or have a bad aftertaste. My guests didn’t smell of garlic after dinner. Pairs well with a Pinot Grigio. Unfortunately most of it must be packed & frozen but that just means I’ll have more in the future.

Better than the WM great value; definitely had a better flavor profile. Is it the best I’ve had, no. Strange that the same parent company has such different products, because great value pesto is trash. Bright basil and Parmesan on the nose when you open it. Garlic and Parmesan foreword with basil a little milder than you’d expect from a pesto on the palate. Brightly flavored, decent pesto, would buy again.

If I could, I’d give this basil pesto an extra half star—or a solid 75%! I’d even challenge Sam’s Club to find a better refrigerated pesto. Honestly, I’d love to be their official taste tester. I would prioritize lower sodium across Sam’s Club products—for both health and flavor. This pesto is incredibly versatile—it elevates a grilled chicken and provolone sandwich, adds depth to pasta, pizze and even works surprisingly well on fries. It’s a flavor booster wherever your creativity takes you. Keep this one stocked, Sam’s... but try to improve it.

This has an overwhelmingly strong parmesan flavor, which I suppose may be good or bad, depending on what you’re looking for. I wound up eating and enjoying it, but it’s not what I expect of pesto. It’s also made with more seed oils than olive oil – which is not healthy, but I also just expect pesto to be based in olive oil.

I love basil pesto but not with the bad oils. This contains sunflower oil and vegetable oil. Sell a product with just Extra Virgin Olive oil. Had to buy in a pinch for the holidays.
