I probably will never make my own again. The cost of my ingredients to make this, even with my own home grown basil is higher than what this jar sells for & doesn't yield the amount in this $8 jar. I wasn't expecting much to be honest, but it tastes so dang close to homemade it is unreal. This pesto can be used for a lot of dishes & gives it that wow factor to it. I use to make pesto only for certain dishes due to the expense it cost to make, but now, this jar certainly changes that game! GET IT!

Most affordable premade pesto locally. Unfortunately I'm always a bit disappointed: the expiration dates are generally not far-off, and the flavor is quite pungent -- not sure if it is one of the cheeses they use, a crappy oil, or if there is just too much lemon -- it always gives me a feeling that the product is rancid when in reality it may just need a recipe modification. I hope they can figure out a better recipe at some point.

One of my favorite dishes is a plate of spaghetti slathered with some fresh basil pasta! The first pesto I ever tasted was a batch my mother made when I was young. I immediately fell in love with it. However, I have found it difficult to find a store bought pesto that competes with mom’s homemade. Member’s Mark pesto is one of the best store bought pestos I have found but to be honest I prefer homemade.

Best Pesto Ever... you could put this on an old shoe and it would taste amazing! This is the most Fresh Tasting Basil Pesto I have ever had I normally do not like to eat sandwiches... now I eat them all the time because of this Basil Pesto! Trust me you have to try this Basil Pesto!

I use this instead of fresh basil in my spaghetti sauce. I portion out 2 tablespoons in snack size baggies and freeze it. Perfect addition for a sweet and savory basic tomato sauce or as a good base for a pesto pizza!!! Sam's really helps save money for us lower income families with these little shortcuts I've found from bulk size products
