I kept this sealed and in the refrigerator until I was ready to use it. When I removed the seal, it was moldy! Gross!

I have yet to try this pesto but there waa so much pressure that the lid expanded and leaked oil in my pantry. When I removed the lid, the pesto exploded. Package says to keep refrigerated but it was not at my store.
