Just got this generator & still breaking it in. like how quiet it is, the large fuel tank & how powerful it seems to be. just putting light lads on it yet when breaking in, but it takes quite a bit to get it up to 1/4 load. Should work well for us as we travel from one dirt track race to the next. Anxious to see how economical it is on fuel. Plan on primarily running it on gas & using the LP as a backup source.

This generator works great! I use it with my small RV trailer. It runs everything just fine. It will struggle a little if I run the AC and the microwave at the same time. I run it with propane only. It has never had gasoline in it. The remote start is a huge bonus. I can start the generator from inside my trailer. With my previous generator, I had to unplug everything before I shut it off and replug after I started. This is definitely a hassle. With my new Westinghouse generator I simply shut it off and start it up. No plugging and unplugging. I do however turn all the the appliances, AC, ect. off before starting and stopping.

I am very impresssed with this product. It arrived on time. It is light weight, started the first time on gasoline and propane. All Batteries were charged and the remote worked great. It ran my AC, refrigerator, water heater, and fans in my camper with no problems.

All the power I need when the lights go out. We have constant power failures during the winter months when the heavy wet snow hits, this keeps us going until they get the power back on. This keeps the refrigerator, freezer, internet, all our TVs, coffee pot, and most importantly for me, my CPAP machine all going lots of power to spare I was surprised at how quiet it was even when standing right next to it.

Added oil, hooked up battery. Decided to use propane to fuel it - seems to work fine although have not really tested it much yet. All the features seem to work as advertised. Definitely a two person lift at nearly 100 lb. The attached wheels and handle work fine, but it's not meant for rugged terrain. Gave it a 4 star rating as I need to use it more to see how it holds up. Have not used it with gasoline.

I recently purchased this generator and have only tested it so far. I like the features, ease of use, and the fact that it can run on propane as well as gas. We bought this generator for emergency use to power up our sump pump, refrigerator/freezer, and a few selected lights.

I bought this as a replacement for a Honda EU2200i. I bought the Honda to run a camper and it wasn't quite large enough to run the AC and anything else. The 4500DF was easy to set up. There was too much oil in the provided oil container and so it overflowed a bit. Once inspected and filled with oil, I tested all of the functionality and everything seemed to work well. I ran it for about 5 hours under varying loads and it worked like a champ. The YouTube videos for the automatic choke issue were helpful to see where problems could exist. Fortunately, this 4500 seems to not have the issue. I had no problem with all lights on in the camper, the AC on, and the TV playing a movie from the DVD player. I didn't try the microwave at the same time yet. It ran very quiet. I was able to switch between fuels easily. I'd encourage folks to read the manual so you know what to expect. Remote works great. It would be nice to have larger and more all-terrain type wheels. A better funnel for oil would be nice, but they are super cheap. Curious how the oil changes will go to avoid making a huge mess. The Honda had an oil spout right on the fill tube that helped with oil changes and kept it clean and easy. A longer hose for the propane tank would be nice. From a quality control perspective, adding a tag in bright orange that says something like, "OIL NEEDED - DO NOT TRY TO START WITHOUT ADDING OIL" would be nice. Also a label for the propane valve that says, "This Side UP" would be nice. Understandably, these things are in the manual but it seems that reading is hard. I would definitely recommend this generator and am very happy with the purchase!

I brought this iGen4500DFc because of the dual fuel capability. Propane use is a big plus and less messy than gas. What I did not expect is how quiet it is compared to my old generator. It also started immediately with the first push of remote start. Overall, this will be a nice addition to our household during the stormy season.

Only complaint thus far was the oil filling cap is hard to get to, and it is difficult to determine when enough oil is added. I ended up over filling, and making a mess. Have not carried a load on the generator yet, but I ran it for almost an hour to break in. Very quiet, and everything appears to be working fine.

New Generator works great right out of the box. Easy set-up. Even though instructions say to fill the oil tank with provided bottle, watch out for small over pour. No problem running our Travel Trailer AC unit on either propane or gas. Need to put more hours on it, but so far its Awesome!
