New Generator works great right out of the box. Easy set-up. Even though instructions say to fill the oil tank with provided bottle, watch out for small over pour. No problem running our Travel Trailer AC unit on either propane or gas. Need to put more hours on it, but so far its Awesome!

We use this to run desktop computers and our refrigerator during our (too frequent) power outages. The AC source has been very clean with nary a complaint from sensitive electronics. We run off of propane and a typical 20 lb canister has gotten upwards of 16-17 hours of service. Very much appreciate the remote on/off control. The only part that I'm not so happy with is that their oil change well is not the cleanest design and results in drips which require care to prevent stains on concrete below.

I purchased this generator for my RV, to utilise the dual fuel capability. Don't want to mess with gasoline and filed carburetors. Propane hooked up easily, in unit started up on 2nd push of the electric start. Very quiet with a low tone, and very attractive.

I just bought this generator and have tried it out just to make sure it works. A neighbor of mine has one just like it that I have used during power outages and I was so pleased with it that I decided to get one for myself. It's easy to use - has two outlets and works on gas or propate - and it's not extremely heavy so that I (a female) can move it around fairly easily.

This is the second Westinghouse inverter generator that I've purchased. First one is a WH2000iXLT that I use around the farm for running power tools as needed. Was so pleased with the quality that I bought the iGen4500DF to run the AC in my horse trailer. The generator's extremely quiet (and efficient!). Can start it with the remote & run it off of gas and when empty, switch it over and continue running on the propane bottles. Great value! You get a lot for your money with this unit.

After months of research and comparison shopping I decided on the Igen 4500DF. Excellent choice - started right up - VERY quiet - remote start was on my wish list. I am glad I did not settle for the Honda version which I feel May be overrated given the price. Top end of weight range at 100 lbs but the well place grab handles, wheels and extension handle make it manageable. Bought for a 24’ Kodiak travel trailer with one AC unit vs. buying and pairing two lesser wattage generators.

PRIOR TO BUYING THIS GENERTOR I USED TWO HONDA 2000 GENERATORS IN PARALLEL MODE TO GET THE WATTAGE NEEDED FOR MY RV. PROBLEM WITH THE HONDAS IS THAT IF YOU NEGLECT AND LEAVE FUEL IN THE CARBURETOR THE HONDAS WILL NOT START AND IT CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE REQUIRING A REBUILD. THIS GENERATOR BY BEING DUAL FUEL YOU CAN LEAVE GAS TANK EMPTY AND JUST RUN ON PROPANE AND WHEN YOU SHUT THE PROPANE TANK VALVE THE GENERATOR WILL BURN UNUSED FUEL QUICKLY.

After camping for years in tents and pop ups I finally bought a travel trailer. This purchase of the igen4500 was a game changer. Camping in AZ without AC is restricted by the time of year and elevation. With this generator I no longer have to worry about that. I’ve tested the generator running the AC and TV and microwave all at once and it didn’t miss a beat. Very happy with the purchase.

I want to install the unit in a secure 36x20x20 diamond plate box, bolted to a cargo carrier on my RV with room for two 40lb propane tanks and a flexible exhaust pipe and venturi chimney that parallels (and is supported by) the ladder up and beyond the roof line. The unit height is 20. Can I get an inch or two height decrease by removing the rear wheels, front bumpers and maybe the handle? Anyone have a photo of the bottom?

I bought this generator to run my camper while hunting off grid. It ran the entire camper. During the trip we had days that required running the ac. This generator ran flawlessly and is very quiet and fuel efficient for the power it produces. The remote start is something I didn’t think I needed but I’m really glad to have it now.
