Managed to assemble on my own. Best to build in sections (especially the slide). A few missing or damaged parts, but customer service is polite and helpful.

The build went smoothly. The set looks great. My only complaint is the balcony that the slide attaches too is a bit flimsy. I added an extra support underneath the slats to beef it up. Overall we are happy with the purchase.

This is a great swing set. It took two people two days to put together. As long as you read instructions, all parts (screws and bolts) are included. Exactly as pictured.

I bought this item approximately 1.5 months ago for my son’s birthday. Still unfinished. I paid $900 for the “professional” installation since I read horror stories on self building with missing parts and pieces not fitting correctly. The company that was supposed to build it for me for $900 which was already paid, decided not to call me. Delivery of the playset was faster than expected which was a plus and I had the boxes sitting in my driveway. I called the installation company and asked when they would have an installation date ready for me, since the item was delivered already. They said they would call me back tomorrow. I wanted 2 days and never received a call back. I call them back and they said again they would call me tomorrow. Again another 2 days pass and never heard from them. I call them again. They said they haven’t found anyone who can install it yet?? I asked if they were the installation company and apparently they are a third party who outsources their jobs to a local company to shave money off the top. They kept not calling me back, this occurred for 2 weeks straight with my boxes just sitting in the driveway the entire time. I call them again and they said “we’ve escalated your situation and we’ll give you a call back either today or tomorrow.” Guess what? No call back. I call again and hear someone whispering in the back “say we’ll call you back.” I call SamsClub customer services to complain about this lack of professionalism, and SamsClub had the “installation” company’s back and said “it can take up to 2 weeks for them to give you a date.” The representative said this very rudely like I was the one at fault. Also, this was a blatant lie. An absolute lie from SamsClub because after about a month of back and forth, I call SamsClub customer service again and get it “escalated.” The manager at SamsClub said this was not supposed to happen and whoever I spoke to at SamsClub customer services prior to that was misinformed. Out of desperation for my son’s upcoming birthday, I ended up calling a local guy to build it, and pay him $500 for installation. As the guy was building it, halfway through his build, he comes to me and says many parts are missing, the app to build the playset was malfunctioning and that we need atleast 40 more screws to finish the build. He had to sand down some pieces that were too long to fit properly. I called SamsClub again, they said they would send the missing parts. As he drilled, not hard drilling, the wood splintered and cracked in multiple pieces. I’m over this playset and the lies I’ve been told. I’m so unhappy and my son’s birthday has passed with a half built, broken and splintered cheap playset. I am embarrassed because I had family come over with their children for his birthday and they questioned this unfinished playset. I am returning it all, you guys win. I’m out an extra amount of money due to paying the local man for half the build. I’ve never had such a bad and poor experience that left me this frustrated and embarrassed. I will be returning this item. I appreciate SamsClub for accepting the return.

The boxes came well labeled and identiable. My only gripe is pieces were spread between all boxes and not by steps. You will need to open every box when you get started. I was missing one bag of screws but just bought a replacement at the hardware store. Overall, I am happy with the product. I highly suggest having multiple drills with the proper sized bits to speed up the construction. Two men can easily do this in a weekend. It was fun and fulfilling to build.

When I received this set, the first thing my contractor said was the wood was terrible quality, breaks easily, and he would have to reinforce it. He had several broken boards and was concerned with my children falling through (ages 8, 6, 2, weight 55 lbs, 45 lbs, 30 lbs) so he bought extra lumber to put underneath. When two kids were swinging the entire swing set portion rocked and would come off the ground. Attached is our play set just a few weeks after purchase, it was completely destroyed by a quick storm. The stakes were completely insufficient. My boys loved this set and were terribly disappointed when this happened.

My kids love this swing set/ club house combo. Quality of material is as expected for price. Takes a few days to assemble and must have two people at a time to help (good thing my husband has been in the trades for 20 years). Instruction manual is pretty advanced and lacks good description. Beware of delivery it says free, but if you do not have a way to get 4- 200 lb boxes out of the back of a freight truck they charge you $170 to use the tailgate lift and they will just drop it off at driveway.

I paid a considerable amount of money for a Quality-Cedar Wood playground set only to received a cheap version of a slide. What a disappointment as the slide is the highlight of most every playground. Instead of being one solid component it comes as a long flat flimsy piece of plastic requiring multiple sections and pieces be added to it to create the illusion of a slide. I have seen older versions of this set and they came with real slides, so I thought I knew what I was getting when I made the purchase. I had done my homework. Joke is on me, now I have to go buy a slide.

I thought having two landings that this structure would be big but it is tiny and cramped. The boards aren’t always stamped on the correct side to hide the board identification so every so often we have a board with a blue piece number showing. They also in directions aren’t very clear about positional and if you over look something about board placement with guide holes wrong you have to go back and redo it when five steps later those holes aren’t there. they should stamp board directionally. Always on top on back vs random stamps on opposite sides and bottoms top design. If they were always stamped on top and back positioning of boards would never be wrong and stamps would be hidden upon completion. Save your money. This is not worth $1200+ dollars. After putting together you have to pay for sealant or your warranty is voided too.

Wood is light weight and marks up extremely easy. Small forts compared to Gorilla brand. Instructions were backwards or told you to undo things. Kids bounce up off slide. Swing beam held to fort with just 2 screws. Space under short fort not usable. Need shutters on window by stovetop so the rain wont eat away the stickers. Wouldnt get another one of this brand.
