DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS! Worst quality control!
DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS! DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS! DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS! If the above warning doesn't convince you, I'll explain why. I bought this mattress to replace a Sealy I bought at Sam's over 11 years ago. The advertised features seemed convincing, and I liked the idea of it being a hybrid mattress because I'm not completely sold on all foam construction. I was also skeptical of a king size mattress being compressed into a relatively small box, but I reluctantly decided to buy it anyway. This ended up being one of the worst decisions I've made in my life. After bringing the mattress home and opening the box to allow it to expand, I was shocked to see that the mattress is folded and rolled under compression. I was thinking there's no way that the coils could not be compromised with this packing method, and I would soon realize that my assumption would be correct. 1. The first thing I noticed was the awful smell coming from the mattress, resembling something like mildew. The literature that came with the mattress noted that there would be a smell and that it would subside with time. This may be true, but it's not a good user experience for something that's claimed to be a premium product. 2. The next thing I noticed was the mattress not being squared (not 90 degrees at every corner). Some of the sides were even curved and would look bad if I had put bedding on it. 3. The foam top beneath the removable cover was not applied evenly with the other mattress layers. You can see in the attached pictures how the foam top has an overhang on one side of the bed. 4. The mattress looked wavy coming out of the box, but I gave adequate time to ensure it was not a problem with the expansion process. Sure enough, the waves never went away after 17 days without sleeping on the mattress. This is the number of days that passed before the attached pictures were taken. 5. The mattress is not true to size as other commenters have mentioned. It was at least 3" too short in some areas, less in others because of the cruved edges. 6. The worst part of all this is the lack of customer support from Sam's. I would not be able to return the mattress the same way I bought it from the store because it came compressed in the box, and I was told that I would have to return it to the store. This is now a huge inconvenience because I don't have a vehicle large enough to transport the mattress in its expanded state. I'll like have to rent a moving truck to finally be done with this poor excuse of a mattress being marketed as a premium product. I have enjoyed being a Sam's Club member, but this experience really has me thinking I should drop my membership and join their competitor that opened a location across the street. I am appalled by the lack of quality control on this mattress. There's no way that the manufacturer is held to any standard, and the worst part is that it's made in the USA, which is supposed to offer the best quality money can buy.

Comfortable Mattress
The Member’s Mark Hotel Premier 14-inch Hybrid Medium Queen mattress is a great choice for anyone looking for comfort and value. First, it offers excellent support with the hybrid design with coils and memory foam, helping keep your body aligned while you sleep. Second, the cooling gel technology keeps the mattress comfortable throughout the night, preventing overheating and no sweaty feeling like older versions, we have had in the past. Finally, it provides a perfect balance of softness and firmness, making it ideal for a variety of sleep positions and ensuring a restful, comfortable night’s sleep. Definitely considering transitioning the rest of the house to these for the rest of the family.
Run and Hide
Avoid at all costs. Mattress started to break down within weeks. And now I am dealing with customer service and that is a useless and extremely exhausting experience. Return started on 2-9 and it is 2-20 and I am still waiting for a call from the carrier. Have called Sam’s Club 5 times now and each time am told ATI will contact you in 24 to 72 hours. Do not buy a mattress from Sam’s. Quality is garbage and customer service is even worse!!!!
Great hybrid mattress
This is a high quality mattress that is around half the cost of a name brand mattress of a similar type. It does give you a cooling effect as well as sufficient support to get a good night's sleep. I'm very happy I purchased this mattress, because it checks all the boxes of comfort and stability for a product of this type. It takes around a day to expand after you take it out of the wrapper, and I like the feel of the fabric that encases the mattress. Very good purchase. Highly recommend it.
Good Value comprable to other brands
I think the mattress a good value overall. It feels slightly softer than expected for a medium, but still offers solid support once you’re settled in—comfortable without feeling too plush. I alr3ady havw a hybrid mattress but the zip-off top is a great feature and makes cleaning much easier than most mattresses. Setup was simple, though it's heavy, so it helps to have another person when moving it. 72 hours to fully expand is recommended. There was no chemical smell after opening, even though the packaging mentioned it.
Comfortable with Great Support
This 14-inch mattress strikes a great balance between comfort and support, making it a solid choice for a wide range of sleepers. The medium support level feels just right—not too firm and not too soft—so it provides enough cushioning for pressure points while still keeping your body properly aligned. Whether you sleep on your back, side, or a mix of both, it adapts well and offers a comfortable night’s rest. One thing to be aware of is that when you first unbox the mattress, there is a noticeable smell. This is clearly mentioned in the instructions and is fairly common with new mattresses that are vacuum-sealed. While it might be a bit strong at first, it’s temporary and fades away within about 2 to 3 days once the mattress has fully expanded and aired out. After that initial period, the mattress really shines. It feels plush yet supportive, and the thickness adds an extra layer of comfort that makes a difference. Overall, if you’re willing to give it a couple of days to settle, this mattress delivers a comfortable and supportive sleeping experience.
Affordable mattress with luxury comfort
I recently purchased the Hotel Premier Collection Medium Firm Mattress, and overall I’m really impressed. The setup process was incredibly easy—everything arrived well-packaged, and it expanded quickly without any issues. Within a short time, it was ready to use. In terms of comfort, it hits a great balance. The medium-firm feel provides solid support while still being comfortable enough to relieve pressure points. It works well whether you’re a back, side, or combination sleeper, and I’ve noticed a big improvement in sleep quality since switching. It also feels very durable and well-made. The materials seem high quality, and it holds its shape nicely without sagging. Even after consistent use, it still feels just as supportive as day one. Overall, this mattress is a great value—easy setup, comfortable, and built to last. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable medium-firm option.
Soft and comfy
Hard to say long term how I would rate this mattress and I don't think you'll ever find one outside a sleep number where both people are fully happy. I will say the matress in comfy. To husband it's more springy than our prior mattress. Not to the point of disrupting the other person, but you can feel the springiness. It is a great side sleeper mattress. Took a little more than 24 hours from opening to be ready to use. Has a nice removeable topper for washing. The topper is smooth so our egyptian cotton sheets come off easily, whereas the basic flannel stays on better. Husband does think mattress feels warmer than out previous, but I didn't notice.
Terrible quality
I’ve been trying to buy a mattress for 3 years. I’ve bought memory foam and I hate it due to it making my hips hurt and I sink so far down into the bed I have to climb out. I thought this would be a good choice as it’s hybrid. No. I got it in a box all rolled up. Opened it and let it expand. I bought the ultra plush thinking it would be perfect. It has a zip cover on it and there was tons of slack like it was missing 1/4 of the mattress. The springs were sticking out really bad. I slept on it two nights and it caused horrendous back pain. I happened to have another 3inch memory foam mattress from a camper van I sold. I forced that mattress into the zip cover and I have salvaged it. No way was I going to try to return this as I would have probably had to haul it over an hour to my nearest Sam’s Club. But it was NOT worth the over 400$ I spent on it. I do not recommend.
Amazing Mattress
This mattress is AMAZING! It is medium firm and I was a little skeptical at first because I typically only buy firm. It was easy to unfold. I loved it came wrapped twice with plastic so it doesn’t just fly open as soon as you start to unpack it. The mattress is plush and you would think you are going to sink in but when you lay on it, it hugs your body. It provides so much support and is extremely comfortable. This is an absolute must buy. It is definitely a 10/10
