Picture perfect!

A breeze to use and experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family uses our Samsung UHD TV for everything that it has to offer. As a streaming device it has given us almost flawless service, barely ever losing connections. We have used casting to view photos and videos with mainly user-level errors. Using this amazing television for gaming really brings out it's versatility when it comes to colors and sounds. I personally would suggest pairing this incredible viewing platform with a compatible surround sound system. Our family made the investment and couldn't be pleased more. Paired with the surround sound, this is the most immersive system we have ever had.

Works well out of the box!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well out of the box! Good picture and sound quality, and the automatic input switching works well for game consoles. Occasionally I have issues with latency on remote inputs. Other than that, no complaints. Would definitely recommend.

Great picture and sound, software not so good

i purchased this samsung 55" because i have the 42" samsung nonsmart tv in my bedroom and had excellent experience. this is my very first smart tv. picture is excellent and sound is impressive. set up was easy through the settings on the tv. tried using the smartthings app on my iphone and it would not work. being my first smart tv, i'm not too impressed with the software. my 42" with amazon firestick takes 2 seconds to load. the 55" takes 15+ seconds to load hulu, netflix and prime tv. sometimes hulu does not load and goes back to previous screen. the only way i have found to fix it, is to turn off tv, unplug the power for 20 seconds then plug back in. the remote doesn't always select what you want. if the software and remote issues could be fixed then i would have given this tv 5 stars.

It has its pluses...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My three year old Sony died on me and I purchased this samsung on sale. I do like the picture quality as well as the enhanced features such as more interaction level through youtube than my last TV. However it is a little buggy as I stream HBO Max and it does not work on this TV. It worked fine on my last TV as well as through Roku but after repeated attempts with a number of different movies/shows it freezes up on this TV every time. I did google this issue and it appears that I am not alone.

Sparks: I am sorry that you are experiencing issues with your apps not functioning as expected. To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care. This improves your apps performance as it frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps. I hope this helps. Should you need further assistance, please contact Samsung Customer Support. Check Wi-Fi connection The interface issue you are describing may be related to your network connection and quality. We suggest you try the following: 1. Use 5G Wi-Fi if possible 2. Try wired LAN if available 3. Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router Run F/W update We also recommend you check that your TV is running the latest firmware. Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit. You may want to enable automatic updates for conveniences. Select Settings- Support- Software Update, then select Auto Update. They had 1 job...

I drove 40 miles to the Sam's Club to buy this, I got it home, took it out of the box, and one of the legs wouldn't fit in for the stand. It turns out that the factory packed 2 left legs, and you need a right leg for the right side and a left leg for the left side. I called Samsung, and it will be 10 to 20 days before it would arrive if they shipped the correct leg. Also, if you need to contact their Tech Support, don't bother with the text support option. When I told them what was wrong, they ignored me.

Great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with the purchase of my Samsung 43" TV. It was very easy to set up, get connected to WiFi and connect to my equipment. The overall quality seems good and I haven't experienced any issues in the first 3 months of ownership. The sound quality is different from my last tv and took a few days to get used to. I didn't give a fifth star due to the sound not being as good as I would have expected. Don't get me wrong, the sound is fine, but I expected it to be a touch better. All in all, I would recommend buying this TV.

Best brand EVER!!!!!

I also use it to do my projects on. Sammi is my baby's name. We spend alot of time as a family on Sammi. My entire house has nothing but Samsung TVs. It is the only brand I know!!!!

Color distorsion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV is great in definition and colors, however, we experienced color issues many times a week. A red colored texture appear and mix with image. We have to turn the TV off and unplug it to make the issue go. It's really annoying for a TV of that size/price (still under warranty though).

Please check that your TV has the latest firmware update, which should resolve your issue. To update directly from your TV, press the HOME button on your remote. - Go to SETTINGS (gear icon) > Support > Software Update > Update Now - Your TV will check for the update and should start downloading the update. After the update is installed the TV will shut down and restart. Once the TV restarts, press and hold the Power button until the TV turns off and back on. If your TV is not connected to the internet, follow these steps to update the firmware. - You can find the update (ver 1401.7) at: samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/crystal-uhd-tvs-tu7000-2020 - Extract the firmware to the root of a USB thumb drive.
