Lasted only 2 months

purchased this tv in november and it lasted exactly 2 months before the screen would randomly go black. sometimes it would stay on for a few hours, other times it would stay on for 30 seconds. i spent a week troubleshooting including using text support from samsung (which was good.) finally i gave up and yanked it off the entertainment center and replaced it with a ten year old 46" samsung which is far superior. it took a week to book the soonest repair date. we shall see if they are able to repair...

Voices overpowered by background music. :-(

great picture. several times i had to reset in order to view samsung tv shows. the biggest issue i have with it (and i did call samsung) is that many times the music (which should be background) is so loud that i can not understand what the actors are saying. several times it switches and the voices become louder. but samsung never heard of this issue... whether using tv speakers or sound bar, on shows i previously watched without issue, will have an issue. very frustrating when trying to follow the story plot!! i am hoping an upgrade will be snuck in to remedy this.

OK Budget TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV is an OK budget TV. I'm not a fan of the Samsung OS for starters. I've seen a lot of Samsung TVs that the picture looks amazing on but this isn't one of those TVs. The picture is pretty average for UHD 4k. I'd also say that it does this auto dimming when it is showing dark scenes on the TV making it hard to see anything. Maybe it is a setting issue but it's annoying. Overall the TV is fine for the price and size.

First, let's make sure you are running the latest software. To do so, head to Settings>Support>Software Update, and you can easily update from there if needed. Next, to adjust the picture: Next, go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1) Standard: This is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. 3) Movie: It is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. 5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching. You can also go to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine-tune your image. For Auto Dimming, please try these steps: Dynamic Picture Mode will make pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to: Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic/ You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to: Settings > General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode Ambient Light Detection will also automatically adjust the brightness level of the TV according to the ambient light level to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too bright or dark level, you can manually select Minimum Brightness to adjust the minimum screen brightness. Love of the Samsung brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I watch my TV everyday, I stream on it, with a streaming device, also have cable TV. Gaming is great with kids. The crisp picture quality, is what caught my attention. The sound is amazing, I listen to music on it. The sound is over the top! Clear voice options. And the ability to change certain settings. So many bells and whistles, I am so pleased with this TV. This is my second one, I wanted a nice size due to eyesight problems and put the other one in bedroom. Plus I went bigger this time I am a TV nut. I can't say enough about this TV. Lots of hookups for my other devices. I have a samsung phone, I have a Samsung blu-ray player, a Samsung fridge. I have been a Samsung fan for almost 20 years. Even got my daughter a Samsung TV, she loves it. The ease of use, also impressed me. Thank you Samsung, keep bring us great products.

Fantastic TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I've had my Samsung for over a year, I recently moved to an assisted living facility and stream all day from various sources. My favorite streaming is through Samsung Plus. Great variety of programs and channels with new ones added every so often. Picture and sound quality are excellent and I plan to buy a second this year.

Loving the TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never thought I would buy a Samsung TV but I took a chance when I saw this one, as I needed one for our living room. Its been better than expected with awesome features on this TV. It not only has a neat feature called Samsung Plus TV (free channels) which without having a cable box in the living room works awesome!!! Plus it has Apple TV app built it which was a major plus!! This TV has beautiful color and I like it better than the other TV's I have in my house. Might need to update them all after getting this one.

70 inch tv

Amazing Tv, Speakers have a little to be desired

However the speaker system doesn't get very loud, if buying this tv I'd recommend buying a separate speaker system so you can get the full tv experience

Overall, great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first smart TV and I have been very impressed with it since I have had it. Prior to getting this TV I relied on Amazon's first stick to access all of my streaming services, but often run into issues as the first stick can be slow or buggy. I have never had an issue wirh this TV being slow or lagging in any way. It was also incredibly easy to download and use all all my currently used streaming services. The only complaint I have about thr device is that after about a month of owning it, there is a brief vertical black bar that occasionally flashes just left of the middle of the screen. This was unusual as the TV has never been damaged or bumped by anything. The bar only occasionally flashes and has not been a bother to me, but it is noticeable. It only flashes for a split second then goes away. Other than the minor flaw, I have never had any issues with the TV and do want to upgrade to a larger model. I currently use it for streaming and gaming. I do like being able to use and adjust HDR settings within a game and i have been very impressed with the automatic game mode within the TV as well.
