Amazing TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the best and probably the best of the best best TV's me and my family have ever owned. This is the first Samsung TV we own and that is all we buy now. It is quick, simple, useful and full of features.

Poor hdmi connectivity

this tv was a replacement for my bedroom tv of a different brand but samsung won't accept hdmi input from our security cameras. the help from samsung tried to correct this but finally told me the camera system was at fault. the camera system help desk pointed out that the input worked with the previous tv and i also connected it to an even different brand tv in another bedroom with a longer cable and it worked perfect. i feel like i was brushed off by samsung. we have samsung washer & dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven, cell phones & 3 tv's but i feel like samsung really let me down this time.

Human interface sucks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture is fine, as one would expect with a current tech TV. However, the remote control hand head controller is poorly designed, ergonomically. Small lettering requires perfect vision or glasses and lots of light. Having to turn on the light and get glasses out to navigate is a pain in the butt. The interface on the TV screen for "Search" function is one long line that has to be negotiated and when selecting a character, extra choices show up on all sides of the selected character. SHould have been a QWERTY or matrix box, so much more efficient. The audio output doesn't remember the last setting when choosing a blue tooth device. Always defaults to SPEAKERS. One has to select every time to use the bluetooth option through a cumbersome SETTING menu. THe TV will pass through to the speakers a loud, buzzing noise if the blue tooth device is not on! Stupid in this day of electronic circuitry to mute noise. Clunky is my best description of the use of this TV.

To assist you in learning the various features, functions, and settings of your remote, you can download the AU8000 TV's Remote Control Leaflet on Samsung's website under 'Support' (top right corner) > 'Manuals & Software'> TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can select the AU8000 under Crystal UHD TVs > A Model Lineup. Additionally, you can find other guides and manuals to assist you with your TV's features further. Please keep in mind that some settings, such as Bluetooth, will not be remembered, as these devices are used on-demand. When the TV turns off, the Bluetooth device will disconnect, and the TV won't reconnect automatically unless you choose to pair the device again. When connecting via Bluetooth, there are a few things to keep in mind: 1. You can't use Bluetooth devices, and the Wi-Fi Speaker Surround Setup feature simultaneously. 2. Compatibility issues may occur, depending on the Bluetooth device (A Mobile exclusive headphone may not be available, depending on the environment). 3. Lip-sync errors may occur. 4. The TV and Bluetooth device may disconnect, depending on the distance between them 5. A Bluetooth device may hum or malfunction: a) When a part of your body is in contact with the receiving/transmitting system of the Bluetooth device or the TV. b) When the device is subject to electrical variation from obstructions caused by a wall, corner, or office partitioning. c) When the device is exposed to electrical interference from the same frequency-band devices, including medical equipment, microwave ovens, and wireless LANs. This product could use an update

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this product for gaming and streaming mainly. TV will kick itself offline sometimes. Could use a system update and better streaming apps update in Google Store. It's been a good t.v for the price. Clear picture.

Regret getting it

I have not had this TV more than a year and it's already giving me issues. It freezes and then comes back. There was a light flashing on the left side of the screen. They came and fixed it but now it just turns off and I have to get out and get back in for it to work

Terrible sound quality

Like all Samsung t.v.'s, the sound (or lack there of) is beyond disappointing. Figured a newer model would have fixed or improved upon this issue but no. No matter what sound setting this is on, the volume has to be on 24 to even hear it, which is ridiculous and annoying. Samsung needs to do better with the sound/speaker issue, no one should have to buy an ugly sound bar just to get decent quality sound, and from the reviews I've read, the soundbars barely work, too. Would definitely not buy another Samsung t.v. again, just bought 3 of these and they're mot worth it.

Sensitive tv picks up distant stations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new Samsung tv picks up stations 100 miles away, a pleasant surprise. Also, was pleased to discover Samsung TV Plus as part of the package. I found the video was not as bright as my 7 year old 32" Samsung TV but it is adequate in a dimmed room.

Great tv with few issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This television is a great value for the quality and features. I have only had a couple of issues such as the sound all of a sudden not working (disconnected and reconnected the HDMI cable); and, if I disable the wifi to the tv from my Xfinity app, I have to sign back in to the Samsung account (once I figured it out, it wasn't really an issue). The tv wasn't bright enough but my husband adjusted a feature which made it better. Overall, we are extremely happy with this Smart TV and all of it's features, picture and sound, especially at the low price point. I would recommend to anyone.

Amazing Picture. Questionable Product.

we have owned our samsung tv for 4 months. the image is stunning and we always get compliments. navigating its content is super easy for our entire family. only concern comes in the quality of the overall product. internet connection is inconsistant at times, even though its next to the wifi router. not sure how it receives wifi signal. and overnight our tv stopped working. the backlight seems to be out and were hoping we dont have to pay an expensive repair fee when we just recently purchased the tv.

Not the end of the world

so i was bouncing back and forth about this tv, i can say if you are a person who doesn't notice shifts in screen as in motion blur, then cool get it the picture is good sounds not to bad. you can't cast vr to the tv which is kinda weird when a vizio can to it no problem. all things considered i would probably go with a different brand next time only because this one seems to lack the little finessing details which makes an aweome tv.
