[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the tv exclusively for streaming; no cable plan whatsoever. I personally have my streaming services quality set at a lower resolution than the tv can handle since I stream a lot and don't want to zap too much monthly data (I.e., my first week, I used 360GB of data). Some fun things: You can have fun karaoke nights with it if you use the Spotify app and set it to display lyrics. No need for Rocky or Fire—you can download all the typical apps. The tv's speakers aren't bad, so if you don't have an extra sound bar, sub woofer, and other speakers you should be just fine. I have an iPhone, but it looks like there's more connectivity if you have a Samsung phone. These things seem nice, but also, I don't feel left out by not having it. The phone app lets you search for shows/movies/etc and functions as a remote. I don't use it often, but comes in handy when I step away and realize from afar that I don't plan on returning (remotely turn off the tv). If I'm being honest, I'm not much of an equipment person, so I probably wouldn't notice much of a difference between this or another same-sized tv from a quality perspective. But from a UX perspective, I prefer the Samsung useability vs other smart TVs I've used/owned.

My wife and I are quite pleased overall with most of the features of this TV including all aspects of the picture. The sound quality from the integral speakers is not nearly as good as the five year old TV that it replaced. We had to purchase a small sound bar to appreciate dialog over the background sound. I suspect this is becoming common among all newer TV's.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how crisp and clear everything appears. And how user friendly, easy to set up it ended up being. It has all of my streaming service apps right there, and I can download any more I might need. Only downside is just how delicate the screen itself is. Kids were being kids, and threw a toy, cracking the screen. Unfortunately, it costs just as much to fix it, as to buy a whole replacement TV. Otherwise, we've been very happy with our purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use mine for streaming and web surfing. The capability to interact with so many streaming applications is great. I wish the web browser was better and had a better interface. The picture is surprisingly difficult to adjust and is nothing special but blacks are especially disappointing.; There is so little depth the blacks actually become mirror like. The settings are difficult and sporadically available. Meaning buttons may be grayed out for no reason.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great picture and sound, but the best feature is the incredible simplicity of connecting other devices.I can connect my MacBook Air with one click, including both picture and sound-both are outstanding, the sound on the Samsung is better.Zoom and Go To Meeting are an entirely upgraded experience.I can actually read Excel spreadsheets without having to increase the size so much that most of the worksheet is out of view (like in the MacBook Air).Connecting to Amazon and Netflix is also simple.This is the easiest set up of any TV I have ever owned.

This TV has very convenient and fast Tizen OS, with all streaming apps, I mainly use Youtube, Netflix, HBO, Prime and Disney Casting videos from mobile phone is also very convenient and reliable, no hiccups. Screen is bright, colors are vivid, good sound with no distortions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] great picture , apps lag a little cbs all access especially slow for some reason-have to unplug and plug in then maybe it will work. only had 2 weeks so far seen picture problems on some comments, worked great first 3 days then had picture problems. i tried every thing in menu nothing worked. i work a lot and poof the picture looks great again like when i first got going on 4 days now. otherwise so far working ok.

i love my new samsung 55” smart tv. the picture and sound quality are great, the remote control is easy to use and the inputs work well with my hdmi connection for my blueray player. the only complaint i have is that the pre-loaded apps cannot be deleted. i am 70 yrs old and am not interested in the pre-loaded apps. if i were interested in any of these, i would subscribe and add them myself. this causes me to have to scroll through all of the apps on the home screen to get to my favorites. since buying the tv, i have added three streaming services, sling tv, discovery+ and britbox. they are currently the last three listed on the home screen. i wish the apps that i don't use could be deleted or at least be re-ordered so i could easily navigate to my three favorites.
