A Disappointment

even after reading the concerning reviews, i decided to move forward with this purchase because of my past, positive experiences with samsung products... a bad call on my part. 4 months after purchasing and something goes wrong with the display. i can't see a thing on the screen with the very dim lighting. adjusting the brightness did nothing at all. i had noticed other glitches in the 4 months prior, but chalked it up to an unstable wi-fi connection (which was not the case). i guess that was foreshadowing glitches to come.

Overall Good Product

picture is great, sound is clear, setup was a breeze. the remote is a bit busy for me. i prefer the older, sleeker style that came with my 55” i purchased in 2017. my only major complaint is with the smart hub. it is very laggy and makes scrolling through apps more difficult than it should be.

Great smart things app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using the smart things app to power on & off when my dog is home alone. It helps with having piece of mind you know. I also use the mirror to tv from my phone to tv. I really like this cause not everything is on my roku or my menu bar apps. So if i have a movie from phone or pictures or videos from a trip I just mirror it . Its simple & easy. Also I like the 4k upscaling. Sometimes i watch old movies & shows with old quality & it works great bringing the picture to better resolution.

Nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use mainly for TV, from Xfinity box/dvr hook up. The TV works great, with crisp picture and very friendly web interface. Easy to use screen items, and remote is easy to use. So far owned for one month. Had issues with other Samsung Tv's but this was a deal, and people seemed to like it. Hope it lasts us years.

Great quality for a great price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV about a month ago and it has been a great product for the price range. The majority of apps that I use to stream shows are available on the Samsung smart TV selection. The colors are great and bright, but there are some glares when direct light from a window hits it. The TV connects to my phone with airplay seamlessly and changes inputs very smoothly. I am very impressed with the picture and sound quality. The game mode feature is useful and there is no noticeable lag when playing games online. Some cons I've noticed are that sometimes the tv will begin to flicker, which was very confusing, but after turning it off and back on it goes away. Also, at first the home menu and app selection is a little confusing and hard to navigate, especially when compared to third party smart tv plug ins. The TV remote itself is also a little cluttered and I end up hitting the wrong button when navigating. Having only two HDMI ports is also very limiting and I do have to unplug systems and plug others in when switching. Overall it is a great TV for the size and price range, being able to get all your favorite streaming apps, 4K quality, and impressive sound. I would recommend to anyone looking for a large 4K TV on a budget.

Incredible picture quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this TV for a few months now and it's a game changer in picture quality. I can actively see the differences with other TVs that don't have 4K and my friends often prefer watching things here. I had to get a sound bar as the audio volumes weren't the best overall; but otherwise have no complaints. The TV is easy to use and I haven't had any problems or glitches like I did with my older TV.

Availability to Download Apps

the shows i normally watch look so much more clear and brighter with this tv. i appreciate the availability to download a variety of different apps, especially the xfinity stream app. being able to download the xfinity app gives me the chance to save money because now i don't have to pay for a cable box in my room anymore.

Very User Friendly

I own two Samsung smart TVs and am looking to buy another. We have had one for 3 years. We want to upgrade to a larger TV. We stream only but we appreciate the channels that Samsung TV has when we don't want to view from our apps.the picture quality is great, the sound is excellent. We also mirror our phones to the TV and there is never an issue.

Broken after 1.5 Months

I had only owned this TV for 1.5 months before it suddenly decided to start turning on and off, over and over. I scheduled a warranty service repair and it took them a week and a half to come out. Finally the repair person was here last week, replaced the main board, then told me the screen needed to be replaced and he had to order another part. So far I have been without my new TV for over 2 weeks now. DO NOT BUY!

The TV has many useful features
