Great tv excellent picture just wish it had better control over the sound like an eq.and even though it's compatible with bell if I set the bell box to surround sound I lose the volume on the tv converter so am stuck using just the bell converter.

Shame on you Samsung

This TV is the biggest piece of junk and im appalled that Samsung would release a product like this. I started experience issues in less than a year of owning and now not even 4yrs later, the TV stopped working. The night before my wife and I are watching a movie and the next day it doesn't turn on anymore. Screen is black, no sound and sounds like there's a mouse screeching in it when I hit the power button. Appears that the power board has gone out. Totally unacceptable and disappointed that Samsung would release a piece of junk like this. I'll never purchase another TV by Samsung.

Low build quality, low durability

I bought this TV in 2020, it worked ok for about 3 years, then got worse and worse and died completely after 6 years use. Initially, the TIZEN UI started getting less responsive to the point that it would take 20-30 seconds from the time I pressed a remote button to the time the tv actually responded. Then, the TV developed a black bar at the bottom, which miraculously went away after leaving it unplugged overnight. Finally, the screen died after 6 years, out of warranty, and it never turned on again. Pretty short life for an electronics device that has no moving parts and sits on a wall untouched all day.

CANNOT CHANGE APPS

so disappointed! bought this tv because it had apple tv and other apps. they didn't say the tv apps could not be changed. there is no room on the 1 gig of memory to add anything and you cannot remove the stock apps! literally the reason i bought the tv... i would choose anything else.

Disappointing

picture is good. software/interface is a huge disappointment. i was hoping to not have to use a box of any kind but will have to go back to apple tv. the smart hub is so bad that when you turn the tv on it will only default to their smasung channels which blasts some nonesene game shows or bad tv. i use youtube tv for programmining and have to go in and load each time which is slow. app tiles are small and hard to distinguish which app is highlighted. i have a tcl with roku tv that was cheaper, runs faster, has a much better interface with infinately more configuration, etc. really expected more from samsung. i just picture a group of design people sitting around a presentation of this “smart hub” interface and being impressed enough to approve it....wow.

Save you time and money.

SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! 3rd time writing this bad review the other two were taken down. Bought this less then two months ago and now it won't turn on. It hardly worked with Alexa and Apple AirPlay. It would only bring up a blank screen when I tried to use them. Picture was decent when it worked. It comes preloaded with a cluster of just junk apps that you will never use. Not worth your hassle or time.

You may want to try the following troubleshooting steps: (1) Make sure that the AC power cord is securely plugged in to the TV and the wall outlet. (2) Make sure that the wall outlet is working and the power indicator at the bottom of the TV is lit and glowing a solid red. If it is off, the TV either does not have power, or it is on and the screen is black. If it is blinking, your TV may need service. (3) Try pressing the TV Controller button at the bottom of the TV to make sure that the problem is not with the remote control. Great picture

picture is awesome. took some getting use to be ause it is so clear. only reason i gave it a 4 star is because of the remote. for some odd reason they did not have it light up. i keep having to turn on the light to use the remote. doesn't that seem odd. even the cheapest of the tv's come with remotes that light up. oh well, the tv was a gift so i can't complain too much lol.

Mounting bolts need to be longer than indicated

the set is nice. but the manual will indicat that the versa mount screws should be 20/22mm. this is not correct, and others have commented the same. when you add in the depth of the mounting plate you are using, the screws/bolts will need to be m8 25mm; otherwise, there will be no bite of the threads-guaranteed. i had called samsung tech support about this, and the agent truly had no clue. secondly, if you want to just set up your tv to start watching your cable and streaming services-not so fast....the initial set up is going to force you through a bewildering labyrinth of required steps, to compel you to set up a samsung account-which you may not want.,

Please know that the 20-22mm listed in the user manual is not the screw length. It’s the wall mount thread depth in the TV chassis. Make sure to add the wall mount bracket thickness to the thread depth for minimum screw length. So far, so good.

this is our first smart tv. its not our first samsung. i was quite surprised at the ease of set up. it took less than 15 mins and we were up and running! even the remote setup for our existing service was flawless. unboxing was simple and direct. now, we will have to see if it holds up as well as the one it replaced.
