Customer reviews for Samsung 55" Class TU700D-Series Crystal Ultra HD 4K Smart TV UN55TU700DFXZA forGood TV for the price but
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this model as well as the next model up and I can see some of the features are turned off, grayed out or simply not available. But that doesn't take away for the quality of the TV, which is excellent for a kid' s bedroom or guest room.
Crystal clear picture!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We stream all content on my TV from Netflix to xbox gaming system to Broadcast Tv. Picture is crystal clear especially for newer content. Technology features are cool, just wish they would being back TV to phone feature.
Samsung Crystal UHD
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV has a great picture, it's very clear and sharp. It's great for tv, movies and gaming. It really brings the scene to life, especially for gaming. The enhanced detail adds to the quality of game play. The sound quality is also very good, it's loud enough with out having to turn the volume way up. Picture looks good no matter where you are sitting in the room. The menu on the tv makes it easy to navigate through apps and cable. An awesome upgrade from our prior tv! The bonus being that Samsung makes high quality products more affordable!
Good Value for the TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall happy with the Tv at the budget price point with the features available. I like being able to use Apple airplay to connect my Mac/iOS Devices to the screen.. the built in apps are a great selection and can leverage all the Samsung streaming tv channels.. wish there were more hdmi inputs for additional connectivity.
It was the best decision.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV before this one was not loud enough for they master bedroom. With the new one they can hear it better and much clearer as well. The the cherry on top it that it works with apple devices to allow them to share content with each other and the rest of the family. Will get again for my place.
Simply Awesome!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, hubby surprised me with this 58 inch crystal UHD Samsung TV and I was amazed by the trouble-free set-up and the clarity of the picture! Yes, it does live up to it's name of “crystal” clear! The unboxing was relatively easy to do, had to set the frame up first, then attach the TV to the brackets and that was it. Next up was to connect it to the wi-if and voila - 58 inches of eyegasmic pleasure! The remote was easy to use, and adding the apps on screen was effortless. I loved that Amazon prime video and Netflix had their separate buttons on the remote. Happy wife, happy life!
Samsung doesn't disappoint again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the Samsung 7 Series Crystal UHD 75” TV. This was an easy purchase considering it was at my desired price point and that it was a Samsung which is the only TV we purchase. I was first impressed by the packing and ease of getting to the actual TV from the box. Set-up was even easier.I was very impressed with the picture quality! Our satisfaction with Samsung continues.....
OK Budget TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV is an OK budget TV. I'm not a fan of the Samsung OS for starters. I've seen a lot of Samsung TVs that the picture looks amazing on but this isn't one of those TVs. The picture is pretty average for UHD 4k. I'd also say that it does this auto dimming when it is showing dark scenes on the TV making it hard to see anything. Maybe it is a setting issue but it's annoying. Overall the TV is fine for the price and size.
Hi Shaunp45, Thank you for sharing your experience with the Samsung TU7000 TV and feedback on the picture quality and auto-dimming. Please know we are here to help you. First, let's make sure you are running the latest software. To do so, head to Settings>Support>Software Update, and you can easily update from there if needed. Next, to adjust the picture: Next, go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1) Standard: This is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. 3) Movie: It is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. 5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching. You can also go to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine-tune your image. For Auto Dimming, please try these steps: Dynamic Picture Mode will make pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to: Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic/ You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to: Settings > General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode Ambient Light Detection will also automatically adjust the brightness level of the TV according to the ambient light level to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too bright or dark level, you can manually select Minimum Brightness to adjust the minimum screen brightness. Go to: Settings > General > Eco Solution > Ambient Light Detection If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Samsung Scrap
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is junk, from the defectively-designed remote to the malfunctioning software. The remote is semi-round with a very smooth texture, making it difficult to grasp securely. It is dropped constantly as a result. The buttons on it are too small and too close together, resulting in the wrong button being pushed (often the Exit button); which leads to a wholly different set of issues. Most bewildering is why the remote buttons do not light up when the remote is held. Use of the remote in little to no light is especially frustrating. The buttons are difficult enough to find without compounding the problem due to lack of a common feature found in the vast majority of competitors' TV remotes. Finally, the software often malfunctions. If it is not defaulting to Samsung TV despite selection of a streaming (or other) service, it is not loading the viewer's choice of programming. As a result, the viewer is forced either to turn off the TV and upon restart re-select the viewing choice and hope for the best (often multiple restarts without success); or to unplug the TV from the electrical outlet then start from scratch once the TV is on. The frequency of both scenarios is so high that the TV will soon be replaced.

Nice TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with the 50 in Samsung TV. We got it for our bedroom and love being able to watch Netflix with just a click of the remote. Great picture. I would like it to be easier to access the sleep timer and I have a problem using just the Samsung remote with the Comcast channels but I hope to get that resolved. Overall, it's a very nice TV at a very nice price! I would recommend it!
