The quality of this product is beyond exquisite

OK TV, global dimming feature ruins the experience

unlike a few other led backlit tvs, this samsung tv dims the entire areas of screen with a broader than required dimming. that makes the dark scenes a bit too dark, with the few lit areas in the screen also being dimmed. no good. next, the tv's smart meny feature sucks. i have roku for streaming, and this tv's ‘landing page' is the default one when turned on. to get rid of it, you have to press exit every single time. there is no option not to display the smart meny screen upon power on. sucks, samsung. did you get that? convey this to your software team. make the smart menu not default. people with their own streaming devices dont want to be bothered to find the tv remote every time to press exit. same foes for wifi connectivity. stop forcing customers to make the tv connect to wifi.

First, you can change the dimming feature of your TV by adjusting some of the energy efficiency features designed to reduce power consumption. To disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption, go to Settings > General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode. Or you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings. Next, to turn off Smart Hub, go to Settings> General> Smart Features> Disable Autorun Smart Hub. Try turning the TV off and on again, and the Smart Hub menu should be disabled, with the current Input Source banner displayed in its place. Alternatively, you can leave Smart Hub enabled and utilize the Autorun Last App feature to automatically start the last app you used once the TV is turned on. To enable this feature, follow the steps below: 1) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Smart Hub 2) Enable the Autorun Smart Hub feature 3) Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Last App 4) Enable the Autorun Last App feature I hope these tips help to improve your enjoyment. Great quality!

It has great brightness and image quality while maintaining all of the smart features such as internet, controllability from samsung phones, and app downloading. Great purchase!

Easy to setup and use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the default features the TV came with,but it's also to add other apps.For instance I added YouTube Hulu etc.i also like that u can name the device on ur USB ports.it just doesn't say USB 1 or 2 or 3.i have the 43" model and for the size of the TV the sound quality is really well.now u ain't gonna get rumble in your seat loudness,but it's so easy 2 hook up a Bluetooth receiver or use a s cord.the picture is crisp it could be better but it's not an OLED so for being crystal it has a sharp crisp picture.

Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this product. The video quality is amazing, and looks even better in game mode! I love the the sensory lighting adjustments. Makes it so you get perfect picture. The user interface is easy to navigate. Only thing that is lacking for me is the sound when watching tv comes through low so volume has to be at a higher setting, but a sound bar would be an easy fix. In game mode sound quality come through louder and allows for the player to get a decent gaming experience. Would definitely recommend this product. Great value for your money. Very easy setup.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this TV for mainly streaming, but from time to time I use it for gaming as well and it handles both tasks exceptionally well! I love the ease of use when playing my Playstation on it since it detects the activity on the HDMI and changes source on its own. The way the streaming apps are aligned are also really nice since it makes it easy to find what your looking for. I love Samsung TV's and this one makes remember why I love them so much. Definitely recommend this and pretty much any TV made by Samsung. I havent found one yet I haven't enjoyed and I've owned 15+ over the years!

Great TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our TV for about a year now and have had no issues at all! The picture is clear and beautiful! I have my Xbox hooked up through hdmi so when I use my remote for the TV I can use it to turn my Xbox on as well which is really nice if you don't feel like getting up to do so.. Lol. I also love the recall feature, my daughter pressed some buttons on the remote and I couldn't remember what I was watching but all I had to do was press recall and there it was. It has samsung TV so channels like MTV, A&E, history and like a thousand more are on there and it's free. I hope this tv lasts me a long time bc I love it, and if something happens to it I plan on getting another Samsung.

Amazing Television

great quality television as well as great price. the picture quality is second to none. the sound is perfect for a bedroom, whether watching a movie, show or even a game. the color quality is a perfect blend. like always samsung has produced another high quality television for a great low price.

It's a television...

this television is great overall... when it's working. today the screen went dark and it's trying to turn itself off and on and the red indicator light flashes. this television is @ two years old and this is the second time with the same failure. it took 2 weeks to get home service repairs last time and it was still under warranty. hopefully, i'll be able to find my purchase receipt and it will be under warranty still. if it isn't, i won't replace it with a samsung.

Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue: 1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection. 2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable. 3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. 4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.
