I have used Ziploc bags since I was a kid, I never buy other brands because Ziploc use to be the best. Not anymore, I can not repeat can not get these closed! If you manage to get them closed they are ok, but what is the point if I put them in my in my kids lunch if they can't close them. I thought maybe it was a box that I got was bad, but that is not the case my second box will not close either. Unfortunately I will not be buying any more in the future unless something changes.

I liked the new opening on the package, you could get the bags out easily, the new open tabs work well and you don't rip the bag trying to open it. Just the right size for snacks. Only draw back is package only seemed half full (amount of box to number of bags).

I just went to replenish our inventory of snack bags to find they are now imported from Thailand. Why would we not be able to make such a simple product in the United States anymore? We won't be putting our fresh foods in a bag that has traveled so far and been made under unknown conditions. Fortunately, there are many competitive brands still made in the U.S.A. and we will be shifting our business elsewhere.

I love the snack size ZipLoc bags, the old ones. These new "Easy Tab" bags are terrible.I purchased some this week so I could prep easy snacks for my son, who is three, but I was very disappointed. I started out with the opened box, regular ziploc, and the prep was a breeze, i had an assembly line going... then i opened the "Easy Tabs" and got so frustrated i had to walk away. They are so hard to seal closed. It makes my weekly lunch prep so much more difficult. I will definitely not purchase this brand again. I unfortunately opened the box so my local store refused to take them back, so we had to use them. My husband and I got about 70% of them to close, the rest we just threw away I haven't seen the regular snack bags in the store lately. So when I

I've used snack bags for ages - I didn't need a "color top" to see where they opened/closed...what I needed was for them to seal and since I stored snacks in them I needed to be able to refill them. The old bags I could use several times. The new ones are cheaply made - I use them once and then they don't reseal - they seal part is so "thin" it doesn't close / lock a 2nd time. I hate these. Wish I could get my hands on the old kind.

I bought the snack size bags because they said easy open. Once I started using these bags I could not CLOSE 95% of the time. I'm so happy that I didn't buy the sandwich bags also at the time. I don't think I'll be going back to buying your bags unless I hear that they are making them easier to close.

With so many negative reviews, are you getting the message Ziploc? When is Ziploc going to bring back the old 'better' bags. Your 'new coke' has failed miserably, what do you do, make it worse? My take is, I'm not an idiot fool that needs some big ugly flap that works really poorly.

I received this as a prize I won in a contest. My family loves the snack size, it is perfect for taking that snack on the go and if we do not finish it easily closes back up for later. Keeping chips, pretzels fresh and ready to go. Also great for small storage, we use them for a few crayons on the go without taking the whole crayon box with us.

I have generally loved Ziploc bags, but the new snack bags just won't seal easily! Why in the world did you change the design? If you change the other bag sizes in a similar fashion, I will no longer buy Ziploc bags. In the meantime, I will purchase snack bags from other manufacturers.

I use the Ziploc snack size to store cooked chicken in the freezer for my Malteese Charlie. He can not have salt so I cook him his favorite food boiled chicken. I boil 5 pounds of chicken breast and cut it up into small pieces. I usually use 20 to 25 Ziploc snack size bags and freeze them in a larger Freezer Ziploc bag and get out only 3 bags out to thaw in the fridge. This 61 year old grandmother of 8 CAN NOT SEAL YOUR SNACK SIZE BAGS!! It irks me every time I cook Charlie's chicken! I purchased them because I thought they would be easy to close since it said EASY OPEN TABS ON THE BOX! I assumed the EASY OPEN TABS WOULD ALSO BE EASY CLOSE TABS! Not the case! PLEASE MAKE A PRODUCT THAT EVEN GRANDMOTHERS WITH ARTHRITIS IN HER HANDS CAN OPEN AND CLOSE!!! I would be more than happy to pay a little more for this! PERHAPS A SNACK SIZE SLIDER!!
