They're also a great size for storing random nails, screws or other random hardware items. The easy glide zipper makes opening and closing the bags a breeze but they still feel securely closed as well!

I also find the fact that I am able to visibly see the products inside the bags as it helps to know what goes into them. I like the versatility of these as it allows for use of snacks and small compact things along with being able to make ice packs out of them that are non-messy. I realize I do prefer bigger size bags for more usability and it would be nice if they were a little more thicker, otherwise these are really great for on the go use.

My family has used Ziploc for years and have always been happy with the quality of the bags, the ease of sealing, and being able to trust that you have a good seal. I don't know what kind of QA process you went through in the new design of the sealing mechanism, but it's the worst I've seen. I have better luck with cheap off brands. It takes 2-3 minutes to try and seal the bags!! If the design doesn't change back to the trustworthy locking that made ziploc famous...I'll find other solutions.

I use them for berries, celery, carrots, raisins, nuts, pretzel sticks, cheese, salami, etc. saving money by buying food in bulk and dividing into grab bags for grandkids to eat without creating messes or waste. The Grip 'n Seal technology makes opening the bags so much easier than the typical thicker ziplock closures. There's no frustration or time wasted trying to pry the baggie open because the tabbed top is textured and easy to separate. Fast and complete closure keeps food fresh. These bags are useful throughout the house. Use your snack size bags for traveling to hold q-tips, vitamins, etc. Use them to hold safety pins or needles. I even use them to hold the extra nuts/screws, small cords, or whatever assorted items come with small appliances, door locks, etc. Ziploc is my go-to brand for all my small item storage needs.
