This did take 2 competent people a week after work to assemble. I recommend one person preps the next step of hardware using the spanish instructions that helped keep the pace steady. The girls love their swingset and being in an HOA it was no issue getting it approved.

I noticed that the set shakes horribly when all three kids are swinging. I hired a professional company to construct it. Only seems to shake/shutter when the swings are producing torque.

Bought this play set for our 3 & 4 year old. It’s been a great investment! They love playing on it after school and especially with their cousins when they come over. Really impressed with the quality of the materials used. Hurricane Milton just came through and there was no damage. Would definitely recommend.

This was the best investment I could’ve done for my two girls. The installers were professional and took every precaution when setting up and making sure the ground was flat. Well-made and my children are out there every day playing after school having fun and burning energy.Paying for quality for a place at this going to last and a lot of cool little options

This play set is AMAZING! My son loves it! My wife and I just had our second child and provide some relief for her during the day, we bought this for my son. He spends all day playing on this. Sometimes he just takes his car up and plays with them in the tree house. This is worth every penny! I bought the open base and put down a tarp and filled it with play sand to make the under side a "makeshift sand box". I highly recommend it, definitely adds to hours of fun. Or just buy the skyfort with the sandbox. Playset is super sturdy - Dont over think it, just buy it - the smile on my son's face from something that I built for him... for me, nothing more satisfying. NOVICE ADVICE: I bought this in Oct. 2022 and I will say, it is possible for one person to build this. I am 5'11", 160lbs - most average person you could meet. But I was determined to build this for my boy. It took 2-weekends for me to complete. If you enjoy a challenge and working with your hands, then you can do it. ORGANIZE AND SEPERATE THE PIECES! I read that it was easier to just work off the packing list in each box... NOPE! Not the best way at all. It was a nightmare. The Second day, I spent 2-3 hours to organize all the pieces and that made everything go so much faster and less frustrating. I found it helpful to use the app as well as the paper instructions. 90% of the using the paper instructions are very clear, but 10% was a little confusing, using the app instructions, it gives a 3-D visual and shows how the pieces connect for every step. So when I got stuck one of the steps, the app was very helpful for clarification. THOMPSON CLEAR WATER PROOFING - If I was doing this again, I would organize and spray each piece and then start the build on the second day. Water proofing is crucial. Some piece showed up damaged, I contacted BYD and they got me set up with an online portal. Great customer service, online portal made it super simple to select the exact replacement pieces. Their system for replacement is impressive and very user friendly. New pieces showed up within a week.

We’ve had this playset for almost 2 months now. My son is almost 2 and I didn’t know how much he would be able to use it yet but he immediately climbed the ladder and went down the curly slide. The straight slide is extremely fast and he initially was a little scared of it but now goes down it quit a bit. We initially wanted the skyfort II but it sold out. This had a curly slide instead of monkey bars and the slide was a big hit with our toddler. The only negative is that the wood seems thin and soft and it creaks a lot. We plan to add additional support boards under the playhouse. It looks great and hope my son will get many years of play out of it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love it. The price for what you get is hard to beat. I would have liked an option for a better hardware pack i.e. ceramic coated screws, stainless steel bolts, etc. There were also a few steps where the step order could've been improved for to save on build time. The directions could have also been optimized to cluster the two person steps at the beginning. The only thing I didn't like was the use of 1" thick lumber used for structural support - I would've much preferred 2" thick. To save on time, I labeled all the parts (lumber and hardware) with painters tape (so the part numbers were easy to read) and sorted alphabetically. This saved a ton of time.

This was actually purchased for our church, and the kids love it! Ours range from under 4 to about 16, and while the older kids don't use it as much, they do help the younger kids engage with the playset (pushing them on swings, helping them climb, etc.). We are very happy with this purchase.

Built 90% alone, needed help on other parts. One of the main wood came cracked, other smaller ones also cracked. Needed to order the parts which I didn’t end up using since it takes 2 weeks for it to arrive. Drilled new holes to make parts fit (not my mistake, holes just do not line up). I needed to anchor some parts like the walls from the bottom, but after I drilled, the T-nut wouldn’t fit because of the frame that was installed prior (happened on 2 areas). Was installing the swing and the wooden panel that it screws on to was in an awkward position and cracked one of the panels. Overall OK, but not worth $2000 after shipping. I wouldn’t pay over $1000 for this. Kids love it tho.

We bought this in the fall for our 2 year old. We are very happy with it so far. He loves it and can easily climb up the ladder and the rock wall and loves to go down the slides over and over. It is not the easiest to put together and we did so ourselves. I had a couple people help and it is a 2 to 3 day job.
