Bought it for our granddaughter and 4 other young children in the family. I decided to put it together myself instead of paying the fee to have Sam's send someone out to build it. I highly recommend having both a drill and an impact driver for the task. The materials are high quality and the instructions are easy to follow. I used both the manual and the phone app in order to be able to see the orientation of the parts when installing each component and it makes a huge difference in avoiding installing a piece inverted or mirrored. The manual said to expect 2 people to take 23 hours to complete, but I finished in less than that timeframe by myself (& I'm in my 60's!). This is a great product and I expect it will provide hundreds of hours of enjoyment.

Great Playground but NOT easy to assemble. I had my husband (a masters electrician) my brother & his friend (both engineers) and my husbands brother (teenager but just there for the muscles) …. They started at 6pm on the 23rd and stopped at 11pm. Picked back up at 7am on the 24th and literally went straight through to the 25th at 5am. The best advice I could give (being the one who gave them this advice and helped organized when we started) would be to get a plastic table cloth and sticky notes and lay the table cloth out (preferably on a table but the grass works too) and organize all the bolts and screws in number order and use the stick notes to write the part number and then stick the bag of those parts on top. Also open all 5 boxes and lay all the pieces out in the yard and stack the pieces with their pairs and in sections. You’ll find you have like E01 E02 but magically M22 then E01 again as you’re open the box, so make an area of all the wood that starts with M and then you’ll have M01-M72 (I think 72 lol) and then make sure you don’t just do Letter areas but keep them in numerical order when you do each letter section. Otherwise enjoy the bonding experience putting it together and the excitement on your kids face when they see it

Great quality play set. Unpack and organize all the parts before you begin. Also recommend using star deck screws from the hardware store instead of their screws. Then recommend spraying it with a water seal to increase longevity.

This set is very nice. But not for someone who now experience in assembly. There is many steps but if you are a decent handyman you should be able to get it done. About 10 -12 hours to assemble, sort, find correct bolts/screws for each step.

I'm fairly handy...I mainly look things up online and if it looks straight forward I can do them (remove/install garbage disposals, toilets, etc.) I read reviews on the install of this and didn't think I could do it, but didn't want to pay $1600 for install, so I tried. I'm glad I did it. The hardest part was unpacking the boxes because there's so much bending over and reading the pieces. Putting it together is easy tbh, don't let these reviews scare you. I did the whole thing myself, even the tube slide. Surprisingly, the tube slide was one of the more easy parts. Just follow the directions on the BILT app and it's a piece of cake. I would say it took me roughly 20 hours or so all in. You will absolutely need an impact drill!!!! I would highly recommend this playground as it seems very high quality so far.

This playset turned out great! The instructions are easy to follow, it took about 26 hours to put together with just my husband and I. The tube slide was the hardest step of the build. Our boys love the playset!

Great playset, big and lots for the kids to do. DO NOT try and put it together yourself unless you have several friends and a week to do so! Pay someone to do it! Way too many bolts! The curved slide alone has over 130!

Product is very cool. Takes very long to put together yourself (BILT app estimates 23 hours with 2 people which is about right). Poor manufacturing processes - lots of pre-fab holes misaligned …which is a shame for such an expensive product.

Instructions are good but the problem I ran into was the part number markings are very hard to find on the wood pieces and had some wood with cracks that would split when tightening the hardware. Each box did have a parts list in them and that helped some with finding to right pieces. This took me 2 and 1/2 days to complete with some help when it was available.

For $800 assembly I expect better service. It took a month from delivery for it to be assembled. The first team that showed up were texting me personally with odd messages. It wasn’t a professional team, it was a man and his parents and dog. They opened all the boxes across my back patio and said they were done for the day after 2 hours. They didn’t come back. I got rescheduled with a new assembly team but week after week there was a problem with the assembly team and the date would get pushed. All while the pieces are scattered across my patio in the elements. Too hot, could rain. It’s frustrating. We were about to cancel but finally got a team to assemble this in one day. The second team did a great job. I feel the process/my experience is ridiculous for the cost and would not recommend assembly to anyone.
