It's a bit more expensive than regular butter, since it has a higher butterfat content, but it is worth it for the taste. I use regular butter for cooking and sandwiches, but I use this where it is used by itself, like toast, muffins, croissants, etc.

I love this butter. It tastes so much better than "fake" butter. I just wish they would bring back the 1 lb. blocks.

I started using Kerry gold probably 17 years ago, Way before it became the “it butter”. I had everybody in my family using it way before the craze took over. But a product is good eventually catches on. It’s the best butter I’ve ever eaten in my life. I haven’t used margarine since I was in my 20s and I’m in my 60s now. Give it a try you won’t regret it. Even if you only use it on special occasions, it’s worth getting.

Real Irish butter at a great price. I do not know how they do it. All butter is not the same, and there must be something about the pasturage in Ireland that giver their cows the ability to pass on the natural freshness to the butter. Maybe also is the fact that much of Irish dairy is processed by cooperatives of small herd owners and more individual care of each animal.

Soaring high above the generics butter out there. Yes, there's a place for store label butters, but if all you're doing is applying a butter to a toasted English Muffin or buttering a hot pan prior to making scrambled eggs , anything where the butter is in the foreground, you MUST use Kerrygold. I don't get it. I have seen this butter before and always past. It's more expensive than regular butter. When I saw it go on sale this month, i thought I would try it. It has a greenish tint to it and figured that's what Irish cows do. Maybe they make green milk too. Anyway, I thought I would give these a try since they were on sale. You get six sticks, which is better than four sticks, but they cost twice as much even on sale. I have cooked a variety of things with it and I don't taste hardly anything. I saw the NY times rate this as the best butter. Why? I'll stay open-minded when I bake some cookies, but if I do not taste any difference, I will never buy it again.

The socks are only 4 oz. 1/2 the product for the same price is ridiculous I’m looking for alternatives I won’t fall for this rip off again! I gave two stars because it’s good butter. I’ll buy Amish roll butter even if it’s more expensive just because you’re swindling long time customers.
