the weight of motor makes the the fan tilt in the base i have hard wood floor and it started leaning as soon as i attached the head of the fan

Terrible quality. This fan was warped and misaligned cheap plastic straight out of the box. Don’t waste your time and money.

Junk fan

It's not very well made as far as sturdiness for such a big base and such a large fan top the top of it's very loose. It's just not as powerful as I thought it was going to be especially for a $75 fan. It doesn’t seem like it’s solid and it’s very hard to get it to point down if you really want to point down a little bit. And even if you have the adjustment knob tightened. It’ll still move up and down. It’s just not a very sturdy fan.

Not not very sturdy

Lasko makes a great product -- I have 4 of their fans -- and I was (if you'll excuse the pun) blown away with this model.   I've bought many a floor fan in my day and none have met my expectations until now.  The fan, in my opinion, is attractive (as attractive as a floor fan can get?), very quiet, has a remote and is easy to operate.  Assembly was easy as well.  I was so impressed with this model I went to Sam's and bought another one while they were still available.  Trust me, you can't go wrong with this fan.
