This is a great TV at a great price, but you have to make some adjustments to make the picture look decent. The built in picture modes look horrible. To make the picture look normal, you have to turn off most of the "enhancements", and also turn off the local dimming. Local dimming makes menus and closed captions look washed out in areas where the dimming is on. Once you turn off the picture "enhancements", the TV looks great.
