Horrible. We have had it for 2years and the wood started chipping immediately and looks awful. The door sags in the corner so it won't shut right and gets stuck. So disappointing for the amount we paid.

Our kids love it so much and it’s really a good looking playground. Downfalls, it took my husband 4 days to build it because he basically had to do it by himself. It’s for sure a 2 person job. The wood is very soft so it’s easy to damage. The worst part was probably the fact that it came in 4 boxes (all of which were well over 100 lbs) and you had to open alll of them to get started and organize them before you can even start.

Really excellent playset BUT - be warned about the slide!!! It is SO fast, and somehow really builds up momentum at the bottom to slam you into the ground. Multiple highly athletic adults amongst my friends and family have tried it and all agreed that it is a very intense slide; slightly older and less athletic adults who have tried it feel it is actively dangerous and that they could easily end up injuring themselves. We can only let our 3-year-old go down with a hand on his chest slowing him down. We're in the process of finding a replacement slide that is hopefully slower - it's weird, I've been on a lot of slides and have literally never experienced a slide like this one. That said - this is otherwise an AMAZING play set. Excellent construction, very good instructions. Everyone who's been involved in putting it together has been very impressed with its quality and the value for what we've paid for it. I'd echo another reviewer's advice on putting it together - take the time to read their full review, but at very minimum make sure to pre-sort your wood alphabetically, and same with the hardware.

This is the prettiest, most fun backyard play place I've ever seen. It looks amazing in our yard, the kids love all of the different things to do on it and it was easy to put together. My husband built it alone over 2 weekends (a few hours each day) and it came out wonderful. I cant wait for the years and years of fun this playset will provide my girls.

We assembled ourselves… definitely took 3 handy people about 30+ hours. And we stained it as instructed so definitely a lot of work. Some of the boards came cracked but still usable? So far kids are LOVING it! Over engineered to the max! Very safe and very fun!

if first like to say it is a very pretty playground, with the slide, tu,el, mountain climb ing etc.... but for us we've had this item for like 7 months and the wood already has cracks in several places, and is now not so durable .I was hoping it would last us at least 3 yrs.

Once I started to separate all the pieces, I was over whelmed. Then I just started one page at a time. Had my son-in-law helping and it went good. There were also extra bolts and screws just incase you drop and loose one. The directions are perfect. All the holes line up. My granddaughter loves it, well worth the money. Now, here is the negative parts. I am missing the magnet part for the door to keep closed. Read carefully which washers to use. There are many, and i didn't pay attention and ran out of washers to fit at he end. Had a lot of little ones, but nit medium. My fault. Overall, this was a great project.

This is an awesome playset and backyard discovery is such an awesome conpany! Everything was well labeled and the paper instructions were great! They even have an app that has the instructions with 3D moveable models of each step! I also contacted them about adding some extra grab handles to the upper deck for my little one to help get her up and down and they responded and sent those out super fast! All in all, a great product and company to work with!

We love this set so much! It took me and my husband 3 hours to really prep everything (laying out all the wood, organizing the hardware and labeling it, hauling it all to our backyard). Then it took my husband and 2 neighbors 10 hours one day and then they finished up a second day with about 3 hours. They said directions were easy to follow and we didn't run into any issues. Nice to have someone who is handy helping to troubleshoot as you go! Our kids are obsessed. In my opinion it's the most “bang for your buck” because there's so many features that make it unique and it's huge! I wanted something lots of kids could come play on and it exceeds that expectation!

We purchased this for my 3 year old directly from manufacturer website. Overall very happy with the purchase. Ordering was easy and it came quickly. We did opt for self installation. Instructions were clear although it is a big project which took several days with 3 of us working on it. It comes packaged in 4 boxes, but the boxes do not coordinate with order of steps for it to be built. My suggestion would be to open all boxes and organize boards alphabetically and bolts /screws/ washers numerically which will really save you time overall. After being built it looks beautiful. Most boards came intact although 1-2 non structural pieces may have had a split in it. Sturdy enough for most kids although boards do bend in on floor when adults stepped on them so we added a few extra pieces of wood for structural support since we knew we'd be climbing in there with our 3 year old. Our 3 years old loves it and know we are going to spend a lot of hours out there this summer.
