Sent my husband to buy a new mattress/box spring set for my 6 year old daughter about 6 months ago. BIG MISTAKE! You sat on the mattress and you sink all the way down. I never liked it. Decided to sell her old bedroom furniture and get a new set. Little worried about having the mattress shipped to me but it came in just fine and fluffed up right away. I LOVE THE MATTRESS!!! My daughter loves her new mattress as well. Added a padded waterproof mattress cover and it's golden. One thing I knew before buying was the current twin sized sheets wouldn't totally fit. I opted for the 12" mattress for a sleigh bed with trundle and no box spring. So I don't mind getting/trying to find new sheets. Debating now to get one for our bed.

I bought this mattress for our guest room from sams.com. It was delivered in a box. When I seen the box I was disappointed because I didn't think I had bought the correct mattress. How could a mattress fit in this odd shaped box!!!! Its difficult to tell online what you are getting sometimes. Needless to say I was very impressed as how easy it was to unpack & set it up! You MUST READ the instructions FIRST!!! This mattress was a great purchase and it fit perfectly on our queen size boxspring! It was a good value at less than $300 delivered via FEDEX.

I looked at all the reviews and decides to buy without a trial. Hard to believe a real innerspring mattress can be in that small box but it was. Very easy to set up and comfortable. I am 73 years old, 250 LB with a bad back and I seep well with no back pain when I get up. Exceeded my expectations.

Bought two of these for bunk beds, the kids were sleeping on the ones that came with the set and the older one was complaining about it being uncomfortable. Upon setting the beds up they were rather high for the top bunk but that's ok i'll modify the bunk and put a higher bar support if I have to. Anyway, I set up the beds and last night i decided to try it out... I laid down and wasn't even really that tired but wow, closed my eyes for a few mins and actually passed out! This thing is comfortable, and has an amazing firmness I didn't think it would have seeing as how it was packaged. Woke up 5 hours later with no pains and felt refreshed. There is a little new bed smell that will clear out in a day, but it's a small price to pay for the quality of the bed. Purchased this mattress online, sight unseen, on a Sunday. It was delivered on Thursday. Very heavy box for the Queen -- 78 lbs. I think. Followed the instructions and laid the mattress in place before cutting the tape and plastic wrap. Amazing to watch it "inflate" and take shape. Although the instructions say to wait 24-48 hours to sleep on it, I set it up at 4:00pm and slept on it that same night. First morning after sleeping on it, I woke up just a little sore (perhaps because I sleep on it the first night and hadn't waited the 24 hours). After the second day, I felt great. No aches and pains in the morning as was the case with my old mattress. As others have said, it's a plush top with a firm feeling underneath. I would describe it as medium-firm, but there still is a feeling of plushness on the top. Hard to describe fully, but it works perfectly for me. I couldn't have made a better choice and the price was much lower than the $1,000-$1,500 mattresses I had been considering I would definitely buy again and I would highly recommend this to others.

I bought three of these mattresses in 2017 and have been very satisfied with the comfort and quality. However, this most recent mattress purchased is not the same quality. The sides of the mattress are too soft to sit on. I am worried about falling out of bed. How are we supposed to recomposes the mattress and get it back into the box to return it?

GREAT TRANSACTION. EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTHLY, HIGHLY IMPRESSED!. MATTRESS ORDERED WAS "FULL", FIT BEAUTIFULLY, EASY TO UNROLL. SOMEWHAT FIRM BUT THAT'S WHAT WE HAD HOPED FOR. RESTFUL NIGHT'S SLEEP. OUR DOGS LOVE IT TOO. WE WOULD DEFINITELY BUY THIS AGAIN.

I bought this two weeks ago for a spare room. When it was unrolled, it did not level out and some of the foam under the fabric was wadded up. I thought letting it fully inflate would take care of it but it still hasn't settled. It seemed ok when laying on it so I left it to settle. So today, I went to put sheets on and noticed that on the end at the head, the fabric was not sewn together and had about 4-5 inches unsewn exposing the foam within the mattress. I thought it was a rip at first but after closer inspection, you can see that the fabric had never been sewn and was missed by the machine. Very disappointed with the quality. I have ordered Zinus bed in a box before and been very pleased.

Ordered this after I realized that I couldn't get a full sized mattress into my suv to get it home from my local Sam's. For the same price this one was delivered! And, yes, the box is large (about 4' x 3' x 3'), and heavy (use a handcart)... but unpacking was pretty simple. Hint... keep it boxed (or at least rolled up tight) until you have it where you want it. Once you allow air in, it's just like moving any other mattress. My daughter loves it... and the thickness and comfort are on par with my $$$ non-vacuum packed one!

I tried waterbeds, regular foam mattresses and others, After 6 surgeries to my back and one neck fusion I found this bed and enjoyed it from the first night. It is rated a 3 on the chart and it is on the firmer side but for me it does conform to my painful points on my body and supports me quite well. If you are looking for something softer look for a number 2 rating.. For me this bed has been the right choice. It was a gamble but well worth it.
